Capítulo 27: Chapter 26: Battle and Bruises
We all woke up bright and early and ate breakfast to make sure we had all our energy. We said our goodbyes to Emily, phased and ran to the meadow and hid behind trees waiting for our time to attack. Seth had already went to the mountain and was watching and waiting.
"Guys we have a problem Jake is about to flip his lid, oh my god Edward and Bella are getting married. Wait oh shoot Bella kissed Jake and it Edward boy is not happy." Seth was yelling his thought.
"I knew it was going to happen." Embry joked.
"Embry now is not the time we are about to start and I can hear Jake." Sam scolded.
The battle was about to begin.
Flashes came out from the trees and battle had began. We waited a couple minutes before charging them with full speed.
The newborns had no idea what we were and were shocked which gave us more time to rip there heads off. Jake finally got to us and he was filled with anger from the news but it was good because this just made it a lot more fun. We were ripping these newborns to shreds, screams filled the air. I saw Paul was down and there was a blood sucker on top of him so me not wanting that thing to lay a hand on my imprint I ran and tackled it to the ground ripping its head off and tearing his piece by piece.
I heard Seth he said that the red head was up there and so was the boy friend, Seth had the boyfriend and was tearing him piece by piece and the red head didn't even care about him. I laughed and told Seth I was right he did get to kill one after all.
After about an hour of ripping their heads off we started a fire to burn them so they couldn't come back.
We all relaxed and we were catching our breathe.
Suddenly a blood sucker came out of no where and Leah attacked it. Jake new she was about to get crushed so he took her place. I couldn't let Jake get hurt even though I was pissed at him I knew he didn't deserve death so I ranas fast as I could taking Jake's place and tackled the blood sucker, it some how got it's arms around me and he squeezed. All I could hear was my bones breaking and then I fell to the floor. Paul was enraged and him, Embry, and Quil tore him piece by piece.
I had landed on the floor and I didn't want to boys and Leah to feel the pain so I phased back.
I was screaming in pain the pain was unbearable. I held my body like I was going to fall apart. I was naked which made it embarrassing but I didn't care all I could feel was pain running through my body. I heard Leah yelling at Jake and then Jake yelling at me asking why I did what I did.
Sam finally yelled and told them both to cut it out what was done was done and there is nothing they could do about it.
The boys picked me up onto their shoulders as softly as they could but it hurt like hell.
I could hear Paul telling me I was going to be ok just to hang in there. The boys were telling me how string I was and also how stupid I was but they loved me and it was going to be ok. They ran me to my house and put me on the couch. They had got blankets and put them on me so I was exposed to the world.
Carlisle came in a couple minutes later and told them to leave.
"Hey there Candice, I am so sorry but your bones aren't healing right I have to break them all over again until they start to heal right." Carlisle explained.
I nodded.
"Don't let anyone in I can't let them see me like this." I pleaded.
"I won't." Carlisle smiled and started breaking my bones.
I screamed in pain with every bone he rebroke. Then I would start to feel a little better then Carlisle said he had to do it again. Which then my screams filled the air once more. Carlisle continued to break my bones for about two hours.
Some where between the two hours I'm guessing someone new had arrived because I heard Sam explaining to them that the screaming had been going on for about an hour. Then Carlisle broke another one of my bones which cause me to stop paying attention and scream some more.
"Alright they are I finally healing properly." Carlisle smiled.
"Who's all here?" I asked hoping everyone went home.
"The whole pack including Jake, Billy, Harry and Sue and Emily as well." Carlisle smiled.
"Um I want to talk to Sam first." I sighed.
"Ok." Carlisle got up and walked outside.
Sam walked in and got down on one knee.
"Where there short stuff." Sam smiled.
"How is everyone?" I questioned not caring about myself.
"Your worried about everyone else while everyone is worried about you." Sam laughed.
"Yeah of course I am." I smiled.
"Paul is having a panic attack, Embry, Quil, and Jared are handling hearing you scream pretty well cringing here and there but their good, Emily and Leah are crying, Jake is blaming himself and has been wanting to come in here since he got here, and Seth he is a whole mess, and Harry, Sue, and Billy are just worried and are trying to calm everyone down." Sam explained.
"And what about you?" I asked.
"I was cringing at your every scream, and I cried a little because I couldn't lose you, your like my first daughter and I don't know what I would do without you." Sam rubbed my forehead and smiled.
I smiled and took a deep breathe.
"Thanks Sam, can you tell Seth to come in next?" I smiled.
Sam nodded and walked outside. Seth came bursting through the door and was right by my side within seconds.
"Oh my god Candice." Seth cried.
"Hey there little man." I smiled.
Seth cried while clinging to my arm.
"Hey, hey it's ok, I'm ok don't cry." I tried to sooth him as best as I could.
"Your screams are something I never want to hear again." Seth cried.
"Well it's kind of hard not to scream when your bones are being rebroken for two hours." I let out a small laugh.
"I'm just glad your ok." Seth smiled and kissed my forehead.
"Alright go get Jake." I smiled.
Seth smiled and ran back outside.
Jake came in the door looked at me and came to my side.
"This is all my fault." Jake started to cry.
"No it's not I should have not went for the obvious attack." I reassured Jake.
"I am so sorry for everything you were right Bella and Edward are getting married, she didn't want me." Jake let tears fall down his cheeks.
"It's ok Jake just promise me you won't let this mess with you, go be with Leah and make her happy, and please apologize to Seth and the rest of the pack for your absence." I smiled.
"I will I promise as long as you start talking to me again." Jake cried.
"Do you have your shit together?" I questioned.
"Yup." Jake wiped his tears and smiled.
"Ok then I'll talk to you." I smiled.
Jake smiled his beautiful smile and kissed my hand.
"Alright now go get my boyfriend before he thinks I forgot all about him." I laughed.
Jake ran and got Paul and Paul came just as fast as Seth had before.
"Oh thank god or whoever is up there." Paul cried.
"Hey babe." I smiled.
"You don't look so good." Paul looked at me.
I was sweating like crazy, had bags under my eyes, and had an arm sling to make sure my bones healed right so I didn't have to get broken all over again.
"Well you would to if your bones were constantly being rebroken for 2 hours straight." I laughed and then winced.
"I was joking babe you look good and be careful jeez." Paul smiled and then looked me over.
I smiled and grabbed Paul's hand for comfort.
I fell asleep within minutes, I was so tired trying to stay awake and make sure everyone was ok but sleep took me over.
