Capítulo 16: Chapter 15: Surprise
I woke up realizing Paul and I are in the same spot we had fallen asleep in. Paul was still knocked out, I wanted to shower and get ready so I could go see the guys and Emily.
"Bubbas." I whispered.
Paul didn't even move an inch.
"Bubbas." I whispered moving around so he would wake up.
"Yes princess." He mumbled in his sleepy voice.
"I need to shower, so let me up." I smiled kissing his cheek.
"But I don't want you to." He whined.
"Bubba I promise I'll be quick." I smiled rubbing his bare back.
All of his wounds were for the most part gone a couple scratches here and there and a couple scars but that was it.
"Fine but hurry." He whined rolling over me and onto the other side of the bed.
"I will." I said giving him a quick kiss.
I got up and went to the bathroom where I turned on the water and stripped my clothes and took off all my bandages. I looked in the mirror and noticed all my wounds were healed to, I had a scar on my thigh and a huge scar on the side of my torso but that was it all of my other scratches were gone. I then got in the shower and just let the water run down my bare body. I then heard Paul yell from the other side of the door to hurry up. I then quickly finished my shower and wrapped my towel around my body and went to my closet.
"Bubba what should I wear?" I asked calling from the closet.
"We should match." He yelled back.
"Ok what did you bring?" I asked.
"I'm just putting on my Denom shorts and no shirt as usual." He yelled.
"Alright." I yelled back.
I looked through my closet to find my pair of short Denom shorts and I was just going to put on a tight fitting black cropped top. I finally found my shorts and got dressed. I walked out of the closet and went to the bathroom, when I passed Paul on the bed he had fallen back asleep. I giggled to myself, he was so cute when he slept.
I walked into the bathroom and blow dried my hair and parted it down the middle like usual. Just then I felt Paul's arms wrap around my torso and his head rest on my shoulder.
"Yes bubbas?" I questioned.
"Move your arm real quick." He motioned pushing my arm up.
I did what his said he lifted my top up to wear my bra started. He ran his fingers from the top of my ribs and all the way down to pretty much my v-line.
"It looks badass if you ask me." I giggled.
"I'm sorry baby." He looked at me softly.
"Bubbas it's ok I think it looks cool." I smiled.
"Do you have any other ones?" He asked.
"Yeah just the one on my thigh." I stated.
"Can I see it?" He smirked.
"Not now maybe later." I smirked and wrapped my hands around his neck.
He then picked me up by my waist and set me on the counter.
"What are you doing silly?" I smiled biting my bottom lip.
"Just admiring my beautiful girlfriend aka my future wife one day." He smirked and looked me up and down.
I smirked at him and crashed my lips onto his. His hands went down from my ribs onto my waist and then onto my thighs where he rested his hands.
"Alright, that's enough Mr, time for you to take a shower you stink." I giggled.
"Yes ma'am." He smiled and helped me off the counter.
I walked out of the bathroom and went to get me my silver ring. I put it on and went to go lay on my bed until Paul was done. Paul took as long as I did, he was basically another girl. He walked out of the bathroom soaking wet with a towel wrapped around his waist. He looked so hot with his hair wet and water dripping down his abs.
"I smelling lavender and rosemary." He smirked and looked at me.
"It's just your imagination, now get ready I want to go see everyone." I bossed.
"Yes commander." He saluted and grabbed his bag and went back into the bathroom.
After a few minutes Paul came back out.
"Ready princess?" He asked.
"Yes." I smiled getting up.
My parents were already at work so I just grabbed my keys and we walked to pack house.
"Alright remember our bet." He smirked.
"Your on." He smirked back.
And with that we walked in.
"Hey guys." I smiled and threw up my hands.
"Candice" They all yelled and ran to hug me.
"What about me?" Paul asked looking at them.
"Yeah, yeah we missed you to you big lug." Jake smiled and went to hug Paul and so did everyone else.
Everyone hugged us except Seth, he stood back looking at us like something was up.
"Something doesn't see right." He looked at both of us up and down and then his eyes lit up.
"Bambi when were you going to tell me?" He screamed running up to me and hugging me.
"Tell you what?" I asked not sure what he meant.
"That you imprinted on this mess of a man." He smiled and then looking at Paul.
"I was waiting for all of you to figure it out." I laughed.
"Holy shit." Jake yelled.
"Wait your for real?" Embry asked.
"Yup." I smiled.
"Fine if you really imprinted kiss him." Jared tilted his head like he was trying to prove a point.
"Don't mind if I do." Paul smirked and walked up to me.
Paul grabbed my waist pulled me in close and crashed his lips onto mine.
All the guys went insane. I smiled and pulled back.
"Oh come on Candice." Seth groaned.
"What?" I asked.
"This chump really?" He giggled.
"Awe little man don't worry no one can replace you, you still come first." I smiled hugging him.
I'm happy for you guys, but how did your wounds heal up?" Sam smiled and then turned serious.
"Good." Paul answered first.
Then Sam turned to me waiting for my response.
"Good, I have this scare." I turned lifting my shirt a little and pulling my pants down a little to show the full scar.
"Then I have one on my thigh but I'm all good." I smiled.
"Your scar looks dope." Jake smiled.
"Can I touch it?" Jared asked.
"Sure." I laughed.
Jared walked up to me and ran his fingers down the scar.
" It does look dope." He agreed.
I just laughed and turned to Sam.
"Where's Emily?" I asked.
"She's at the store." He smiled.
I just oh'ed.
"We were going to go cliff diving if you guys wanted to come." Seth smiled.
"Of course I wanna go." I smiled.
"Alright then let's go." Jake laughed and walked towards the door.
We all laughed and followed Jake to the cliff. We all conversated and Seth was asking me a whole bunch of questions about the imprint situation like what it felt like, was it worth it, was the bond as strong as they say, and so on. I answered all his questions and then we finally got to the cliff.
"Alright who's first?" Jake asked.
"Me." I yelled.
I then took off my shirt and left on my shorts. I had a sports bra on so it wasn't bad.
"Damn short stuff your scar does look really dope." Sam laughed.
"I know." I smirked.
With that I backed up from the ledge and then ran full speed towards the edge and jumped. The rush was amazing. The wind in my hair and also it hitting my face just felt to right. After a couple seconds of falling a hit the water with a splash. I went under and then swam towards the surface. I got to the surface and looked up at the guys. All the guys were cheering and then I saw Paul jump first then Seth, Jake, Embry, Jared, and then lastly Sam.
All the guys hit the water with a splash like I did and then their heads popped up one by one. Excpet for Seth.
"Where's Seth?" I asked getting worried.
"I don't know." Jared stated.
I started to panic, I couldn't see him anywhere. I then ducked under the water and looked for him. I couldn't find him anywhere so I went back to the surface.
"Seth." I yelled out.
"I'm over here." I heard someone yell from the shore.
I looked at the shore and it was Seth he was waving his hands so I could see him better.
"I swear that kid is going to be the death of me." I sighed.
"Well just wait till you have kids." Sam laughed.
"I can't wait for the day." Paul smiled and then wrapped his hands around my waist under the water.
"Alright alright cut it out." Embry gaged.
"What?" I asked.
"All the lovey dovey shit." Embry mumbled.
"Yeah, yeah whatever." I rolled my eyes.
"Alright guys it's time for us to head back Emily is probably wondering where we are." Sam stated.
I was excited to see Emily and tell her all about Paul and I. Even though I saw her like the other day I still missed her, I was used to seeing her everyday.
We all swam back and were chatting amongst ourselves.
"Who's down for a race?" I smirked.
All the guys cheered and we went to the edge of the forest.
"Alright rules are when Sam says go we take off and then phase, sounds good?" I asked.
Everyone nodded and lined up.
"Ready.... Set.... GO!" Sam yelled.
And with that we all jumped and phased and took off. We had landed on the floor pretty much at the same time so there was a loud boom when we hit the ground.
"10 bucks I win." Embry thought.
"15 if I win." Jared urged.
"20 if I win." I entered their little contest.
After I put my bet in a crouched a little lower to the ground and bolted to Emily's weaving through tree and jumping over fallen branches. Paul and I were neck in neck.
"Paul." I called out to distract him.
He looked at me and I just gave him a head nod and then looked away, and with that he crashed into a tree. I was laughing so hard in my head and all the guys were to.
"Not funny, just watch when we get home Mrs. Princess." He laughed.
By this time now I had already made it to the clearing where Emily's house stood quickly phased back and threw on the extra clothes I had put there. Right after I changed everyone started to come in. First Paul, Embry, Jake, Jared, Seth then Sam. Sam never liked racing with us because he was always so serious.
"Alright you two pay up." I laughed as we walked to the door.
"Whatever." Jared rolled his eyes.
Each of them handed me $20 bucks.
"I swear you guys always make bets you lose." I laughed.
"Not always I was right about the imprint thing." Embry said and then went wide eyed,
"What imprint thing?" I asked.
"You know how we place bets on who we think is going to imprint next and who their going to imprint on?" He questioned.
"Yeah what about it?" I asked.
"Well when you first got here we all placed bets, I bet that a scene was going to go down and that you would imprint on Paul, I chose Paul because you guys are so alike." He smiled.
"Oh, well who did the rest of you bet on." I asked looking at the rest of the guys.
"I said Seth." Jake stated first.
"I said Jake." Seth laughed.
"I said Jake." Jared added.
"I said Seth." Paul finally added.
"Wow did even bet on your self." I laughed and walked to Paul's side grabbing his hand.
"Not my fault you hit Seth in the face with the football." He laughed.
"How did you know about that, you weren't even there." I questioned.
"When the guys came home that night they kept messing with Seth about the whole situation, Seth took it like a champ and told them that's they were just jealous that they didn't get your attention first." He laughed.
"That's my little man." I laughed and wrapped my arm around Seth's neck.
"I mean we were kind of jealous but not the point, the point is I won the imprint bet." Embry laughed.
We all laughed and walked into Emily's.
