Capítulo 19: Beginning of the Grand Tournament
With the morning dawn, the entire country wakes up to an exciting day. Today is the start of the most important tournament held every year for young trainers. 448 people from every region, who may participate in this tournament by showing their strength, will battle each other in this tournament.
While the country starts the day with this excitement, our main character Beyaz gets up excitedly from his bed with Absol. He had explained to Absol earlier this week what happened. Learning that the big tournament will take place, Absol is very excited. Lots of powerful and different pokemon will battle in the tournament.
The tournament will start at 9 a.m. Half of the matches before noon. In the afternoon, the other half of the matches will play.
After breakfast, Beyaz and Absol go to the market. As they will spend the entire day watching the matches today, they will buy a variety of cookies, potato chips and coke. During the tournament, they did not think of visiting the market again, so they bought potions and pokemon food along with the snacks. Absol's eyes shine when she sees all the snacks.
'He took snacks I had never eaten before. They taste good. Beyaz eats good things. I will eat these. I will eat of it all.' Absol thinks. Thinking of saliva flows.
When they do their shopping, they come home and turn on the TV. Beyaz mixes channels. He shuffles, shuffles finds many channels that give the tournament. He then checks from the internet. After checking, he sees that most of them are regional channels. These channels only broadcast the matches of the participants in their regions. A program introducing the participants will start on this channel at 8 o'clock.

After waiting for 5 minutes, the program starts. The host of the show is an extremely beautiful woman with blond hair and blue eyes in her early 20s. Her name is Jasmine Ellis, and she is a very popular host.

Then they introduce these 7 people one by one.
First, the first of the Central-Anatolian Region mentions, since it includes the capital of the country. An 18-year-old girl with brown hair and brown eyes appears on the screen. Her name is Errin Ceylin, and it specializes in flying type pokemon. She took part in the tournament from the capital, Ankara City.
Second, the first of the Marmara Region mentions. A 16-year-old teenager with brown hair appears on the screen. His name is Atakan Tan. He is a Multi-type pokemon trainer. He attended from Istanbul City.
"The trainer mentioned by Aisa, who has shown as the favourite of the tournament." Beyaz thinks by paying attention to the screen.
The third, the winner of the Aegean Region. An 18-year-old beauty with blond hair, green eyes appears on the screen. Her name is Melissa Hamptson. She specializes in dark type pokemon. She joined the tournament from Mugla City.
"The person Aisa hopes to win," Beyaz thinks.
Fourth, the winner of the Mediterranean Region appears on the screen. A 19-year-old black-haired, black-eyed young man named Attila Edge. He specializes in water type pokemon. He took part in the tournament from Antalya City.
Fifth place is the winner of the South-East Region. 17-year-old brunette teenager. His name is Yakup Soydan. He specializes in ground-type pokemon. He took part in the tournament from Batman City.
The East Region winner has shown as sixth. She is a beautiful 18-year-old brunette. Her name is Gizem Kar. She specializes in ice type pokemon. She took part in the tournament from Erzurum City.
Finally, the winner of the Black Sea Region has shown. Another 18-year-old brunette girl. But she has blue eyes. She's called Ayda Eylem. Also, Ayda is a multi-type pokemon trainer. Shee took part in the tournament from Trabzon City.
'Most of the winners are girls.' Beyaz thinks.
The other trainers have shown. It can see that many trainers specialize in one type. Only very few people are a multi-type trainer.
Various rules mention after the participants have shown. Beyaz has already learned most of the rules. The matches up to the top 56 are 3 vs 3. After the top 56 determined, the matches are 6 vs 6. But while explaining the rules, Beyaz saw that there was a very important rule he did not know.
Elite level pokemon cannot take part in the tournament. It shocks Beyaz to see this rule. Then he listens to the reason. When he finds out why he realizes that this rule makes quite a sense. Since there is no age limit to take part in the tournament, many elite level trainers can join the tournament and cruise. To prevent this, participation in the tournament has blocked for elite level trainer and pokemon.
But there are special tournaments for the elite level trainer. This tournament is not an annual tournament. It mostly takes place between two elite trainers who faced each other, and the match result has determined online. It has similar rules to the Pokemon World Championship tournament shown in the anime's last season, and the tournament has similarly organized.
Thus, most of the participants' age is less than 20.
