Logan's POV

"Hey, mister. Are you okay?" I heard a faint voice call and someone shaking my body.

I fought to open my eyes and when I did the bright sunlight made me shut them back quickly.

I winced as a killer headache made itself visible.

"Mister, are you okay?" The voice called again.

I opened my eyes, now semi adjusted to the light and saw what appeared to be a man in his forties hovering over me.

Memories of what happened came back to me and in an instant I was up.

"Eva!" I called in fear. I looked around to find myself lying on the road side.

I found some people crouched on the ground around something and I heard them call for a 'miss'.

I quickly ran to them and saw that they were in fact gathered around an unconscious Eva.

"Eva!" I called again as I pushed my way through to her.

I held her in my arms and removed the hair that was sticking to her face away.
