Capítulo 218: This Night is Ours

When I said I wanted him, I was saying he was the one I wanted, that there was no other that could be a possible match for me. He was the match. And always, that was the blessing and the challenge at once. For me, he was it, and I hoped I was it for him too.

There was so much to love right there in one amazing person. Of course, I wanted him. He was brilliant in multiple ways and when they were summed to make his entire self, that was what made me fall in love with him.

"This?" Marvel asked in his husky voice, holding my hand under his own.

The wet and sticky substance on the palm of his hand that was on the back of my hand no longer bothered me. Under normal circumstances, I would have snapped and backed away faster. But right now, my focus was so fixated on him - his gaze, his voice, and his touch - everything - that nothing else mattered anymore.

Seeing me nod timidly, he asked once again to confirm.

"This, and not fingers?"
