Capítulo 99: Bribing The Bride

"My son has recently acquired two construction projects with big clients. He has been very diligent." Eros's father, Peter speaks highly of him or rather lies about him. 

"But not only that... He is also involved in the company's growth with his efforts..." Peter continues to boast about him while Eros just nodded like he was obligated to. 

Scott seemed impressed as he listened to all his achievements and all he has planned for the future. His father has done a marvellous job to portray him as a gem the company requires. 

"I am impressed, Peter. Your son really has the guts to pursue his dreams. I wish David could become more like him." Scott comments, appreciating Eros with a pat on the back. 

Peter clears his throat. "Why wish to make someone who can't become my son. Why not wish to consider my son instead?" 

Scott's eyes slightly widened and he looks at both father and son with disbelief. "Peter, do you even know what you are saying?"
