"How are you David, dear?" Mrs. Jackson turns towards David while he sat on the bed.
"It doesn't hurt much now." He gives out a hesitant chuckle while looking at his hands.
"You don't really have to feel obligated towards me David." David's head shot up to meet Doris's eyes.
"What do you mean Mrs. Jackson?"
"I mean to say that I am doing this job for years now. I don't mind it and I could have taken your empty tray back and you need not ask Miss Ruby for that."
