"Ah, just the usual household affairs chit-chat." She answered, waving her off, and went to her room to sleep off the tiresome day. Pursing her lips Sabrina also trudged away towards her room, giving up the idea to probe on the topic further with her mother.
Doris sat on her bed and glanced at Sabrina, walking away with a sigh towards her room. She couldn't forgo the words spinning in her head from a while ago.
"Mrs. Jackson wait." David stops her before she could leave the car.
"Yes, David?" She asks, turning towards him.
David looks around and doesn't particularly look at Doris. He looked hesitant but he definitely had something to say to her. "You can tell me David whatever's on your mind."
