"Thank you, mother, for looking out for me but we were never meant to be together, to begin with." She releases her and backed away a little, giving her enough time to think over her words.
"Sabrina... You've grown so much." Her mother peeked at her with tear-soaked eyes. "I guess I choose the wrong path in order to provide you the world while all this while you had never wanted all this."
This time Sabrina's mouth did pull up but it wasn't forced. It was rather a genuine smile that displayed her emotions and affection towards her mother.
"I love you, mom." She hugs her mother. Doris returns the hug, holding her tight and passing the warmth that she needed the most right now. Gladly she felt somewhat at peace.
"I love you too honey." Doris kisses her hair before she finally went to sleep.
