Delaney was the most surprised. "You did?" 

"Yes."

That was a pleasant surprise. Destrian had shown no interest in women since he came of age. They had brought him along on all their banquets and trips, where he met all kinds of maidens. They had been to the underworld and realm of immortals as well but when he wouldn't glance twice at a woman, they gave up. They were not in any hurry for him to marry, after all. 

"What's she like?" She couldn't help asking. 

"She's the most beautiful woman I have ever seen."

Darius cleared his throat. 

"Aside from you, Mother." Destrian quickly added, making Delaney laugh. He smiled along. Well, he wouldn't blame his father for thinking Delaney was the most beautiful woman in the world. She was, but the woman he met today…

"What's her name? Will you bring her home to meet us soon? Do we know her parents?" They asked, and he scratched his head. 

"I don't know."
