"How?" She blinked in confusion. Her voice broke with the tingles that rushed up her skin from his touch. When he kissed her neck, she knew where he was going with this confusing explanation.

"I would like to spend more time with you." He whispered against her skin. "I would like to forget everything for a while. Can we stay here tonight?"

She looked up and met his gaze. She still couldn't understand why he wanted to be here and not in the castle, but she agreed. "Okay. We need some rest, after all."

He swallowed a lump as he tried to control his urges. When she looked up and met his gaze with her nervous eyes, he stopped himself from touching her.

However, she suddenly crashed into him, pressing her lips against his and wrapping her arms around his neck. He looked down at her and their gazes collided. She was nervous, but she ran her fingers gently down his neck like Kyrah said she should do.
