When she woke up the following day, her head felt as though it was on fire, and every inch of her body was sore. Training with knights was way harder than she had thought. However, she should have expected it. There was no way it would be easy when she had never actually been on the field.

She had been so tired that although she had wanted to read at night, she could only remember reading a few words on repeat and didn't know how she fell asleep. She looked around and realized she was in bed. Ylvia and Sianna knew that they were not allowed to enter her room at night. Who put her in bed? Her face reddened when she thought about it. Could Darius have come here?

She didn't need to think much before she had her answer. When she saw a handkerchief she knew was not hers on the floor, she guessed that he must have dropped it.
