Capítulo 3: Getting used to the new life.

After an intense 10 to 20 minutes of showering or I would highly consider it as absolute terror, closing my eyes tightly shut to avoid staring at my new male body especially my down area. and believe me on this, it wasn't easy at all. I had to find maleish looking clothes that would suit me or preferably my new choice in style.

But luckily, with the help from Emily who was a pro in the fashion field for both men and women and the internet, it was quite worth it.

In the end, I came out of my apartment wearing a black sweater, a grey beanie, black jeans, normal sport shoes and round shaped glasses since I was short sighted and had completely forgotten to take off my contact lenses the night before. In which, leaving myself with slightly red eyes.

As we were making our way to work, Emily questioned me, " Hey, erm, I have something to ask, since you're a guy now, what's gonna be your new name?" .

" I completely forgot! I can't be a nameless guy! I actually never thought of that.. Thanks for reminding me! ", I replied with a shocked tone as I face palmed myself.

Emily gave a smirk back.

Both of us then started thinking of a name for the new me. There were some, well more like a lot of weirdly suggested names mentioned from Emily, like, Gosling, Jim, Carter and more. There were indeed too many weird names that were blabbered out by Emily in less than a minute, I couldn't keep track.

Then I said, " What about Ryan Dexter? ".

Emily started jumping up and down in excitement! It was as if she was getting ready to sit on a rollercoaster or something. She smiled with joy and said, " YES, THAT'S EXACTLY THE SAME NAME I WAS THINKING OF! IT'S PERFECT FOR YOU! ".

Then I said in disbelief, " Pfft, yeah right. "

Once we reached our workplace, I told Emily that I would settle my interview as a newcomer in my current body. I then tilted my glasses and we made our way to the main office of our building so that I could apply for an interview.

But because of me being a guy, it did not only made my best friend stare at me with her desperate eyes, it basically made all the ladies working there interested in me! That one weird feeling, the feeling of being watched by dozens of women, I honestly thought I would feel weird being in a guy's body.

Turns out, I was able to pull it off!

I felt the confidence inside of me, one smile from me made almost half the people there faint, drool or something else! Basically all the things that typical fangirls do when they meet their idol or something of the sort.

" See? It's not so bad being in a guys body right? Look at all the staring you're getting! I mean, if you were transformed into a more beautiful girl.. then maybe you might be able to seek love sooner! ", Emily whispered into my ear.

" So, you're saying I'm actually ugly in my original body? You evil-hearted demon.. No dinner for you then at my place! ", I replied in a soft yet angry tone.

Emily slapped my arm and replied in rage, " Oh quick whining would you! I'm not saying you're ugly! I'm saying you would gain a higher self-confidence and it maybe might be more easier for you to find your true partner. AND HEY! You pinky promised me a free dinner! No walking back on your own words! ".

" Then you shouldn't have judged me in the first place.. Alright alright, as promised. You'll get your free dinner...", I replied.

Emily smiled in delight as she clung firmly onto my arm.

While walking towards the office, I accidentally bumped into a guy with a very familiar face feature. It was Bryan.

My face frozed up for a second, but then I remembered that I was in a different body.

I quickly said, " My apologies sir! "

" Hey Bryan! ", Emily said in delight,

He waved back at Emily, then looked at me and asked, " It's alright, but have you seen a women in her mid twenties? She has long black hair, brown eyes, maybe about 167cm tall? I'm looking for her. Her department needs her to start a photoshoot. "

" You should know who I'm talking about Em's.. ", he continued.

My face started to worry, I had completely forgotten about the important photoshoot, but I couldn't do anything due to my condition. But luckily, an idea flew in me.

I told him, " Oh her! Of course I know her. Selena Theo right? She's my cousin! Unfortunately she became sick. She won't be able to make it :( "

Emily smirked beside me and said, followed by with a few coughs, " Y-yeah she really is in a bad condition. "

Emily then whispered in my ear saying that she had to go to do her shift. But before I could say anything, she had already ran off. I showed a slight irritation but when I saw Bryan's face, I didn't bothered much about myself.

The look on Bryan's face was just pure disappointment and also sadness. I myself felt incredibly sad for him especially since I'm the person he was looking for, except I'm just hidden underneath a mask that won't ever come off.

I gave him a pat on his shoulder and told him that she would return soon in full condition. He gave me a quick smile in relief.

" Thanks for the info! I'll let my boss know yeah! And also.. are you new here? I haven't seen you before.. ", he asked in confusion.

I nodded in agreement and briefly introduced myself while explaining my intentions of coming in. I then asked him for his number so that I could update him on her condition. Plus! I also had another reason to get a new phone so I wouldn't feel guilty spending my money hehe.

" Great to finally meet you Ryan! Good luck on the interview! ", Bryan said as he waved goodbye while walking off.

I waved back at Bryan and continued to walk towards the office. As soon as I stepped in, I went to search for the manager and soon had asked for a job application... But, something wasn't quite right. Well I'm sure you guys could easily guess what had happened...

" After dealing with the office.. "

Long story short, I asked the lady for my application and she instantly gave me the job.

I then asked in surprisement, " Wait, what about my interview? "

She then replied with a blushed face, " ~Oh, it's not necessary for good looking guys to deal with these interviews, you're the lucky guy ~ Call me if you need any help ;) "

Later on, she showed me towards my desk which was located a few rows away from my original desk. Once I sat down, another lady came up to me and gave me my schedule alongside a bouquet of flowers that had a note attached to it, it wrote,

" Congratulations!! ♥ ♥ ".

I thanked the lady and not too long, I thought to myself, " Wow... being a guy can sure be useful especially when it comes to the ladies and work, but I also can't forget that I'm originally a girl... I'm not a lesbian! Time to focus on work! "

As I unpacked my stuff on my desk, I somehow overheard a group of ladies from a distance, gossiping about someone. One lady said,

" OMG He is so hot! I can't believe it! Is he an actor or something? ".

" Not gonna lie, but he seriously tops the charts for being the most good looking lad here in our workspace. Hands down! ", another lady said.

" Any idea on his name? Maybe I could offer some ' special service ' ", one more added.

At the back of my head, I was praying to the lords that those ladies weren't talking about me. And what did that lady meant by ' special service '?! I didn't want to sell my body or anything! Nothing to do with prostitution or anything of the sort! Heck no!

I plugged in my earphones and blasted music, to avoid listening or to just shut off the outside world.

" No distractions! Work mode on! ", I said in a serious tone.

I was about to start emailing different companies for any new groups coming in for the day on my laptop. When all of a sudden, I heard screaming, but it sounded more like fangirling?!

" Despite blasting music, I can still hear them?!?! THE F- I need a new pair of earphones after this. ", I thought in disbelief.

I looked up from my screen just to see what was all the commotion about and saw a tall handsome man walking inside a room. Probably attending a meeting?

I asked my deskmate on who was that. He then showed me a complete shocked face, he asked me, " W-WHAT, WAIT ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Like I know you just started working with us but HOW COULD YOU NOT KNOW WHO HE IS? He is the son of our ex-CEO, the original CEO decided to retire and had given his company to his son, William Brownfield. So since you're new, try to make a first good impression on him. I heard he's quite cold-hearted.. but others also say he's nice but only towards certain people. "

My face went wild and I asked to myself, " How could our old CEO just retire like that?!? I was good friends with him as well. *Sighs* Never mind, I can deal with his son, maybe he might not be so bad after all. "

I started to continue my work until my breaktime started, I had lunch with a few of my old colleagues that were friends with my original self and Emily.

Once I got back to my desk, I was stunned because it was completely empty!

" Is someone trying to play a joke on me?! What the heck! Was it that perverted lady and her ' special service '?! ", I wondered in confusion as I looked left and right for anyone. But the halls were empty. It was just me.

As I stood there completely blanked out, thinking and thinking. That was until I felt a hand on my shoulder, I turned around and saw a very familiar face, a face that I DID NOT expect to see on my first day of work... IT WAS THE CEO'S SON, WILLIAM?!
