He looked hurt. "It's not that I pushed Myra into it. I gave her the option and I gave her the freedom to choose – she chose this life herself. She was free to refuse it if she wanted to. She did not and I assumed that she has accepted it with all her heart." 

Aryaman shook his head. "She came pleading to you. But you did not hear them."
