The clothes he'd had for just over a couple of weeks were already somewhat short.

Lingyue nodded shyly, "The food Auntie makes is delicious."

Ye Xingbei smiled, patting his head again, her eyes filled with affection.

She'd been staying with the child in Beijing for over half a month, and there was no word from his father and stepmother.

Not even a single phone call.

She sometimes couldn't help but wonder, if she took the child away, what if a trafficker took him? Would anyone care?
