Inside the pawn shop, the atmosphere changed immediately. The dimly lit space was cluttered with an assortment of items, from ancient artifacts to peculiar trinkets. Morana scanned the room, her aloof nature in full effect, as she assessed the surroundings with a discerning eye. A few items and labels instantly caught her attention, but Morana didn't make a move, instead, she observed her surroundings, as well as her mother, and decided not to make any rash decisions.
Amalia led the way, her presence commanding respect and instilling a certain unease in the shop's occupants. Her respected and feared reputation preceded her, and those who recognized her exchanged hushed whispers, casting cautious glances in her direction. The whispers became even more rapid when they saw Morana with her. Some still guessed about her identity, and some who already made the connection looked at her with calculating glances, observing her every move and reaction.
