Capítulo 9: Future

However, what the group leader revealed, struck Whitebeard on the same level as the chat group thing.

But after thinking about it for a few seconds, Whitebeard shook his head.

No one controls him, of that he is certain. He is himself.

Primo: "I ask you a straightforward question. You are yourself, right?"

Edward Newgate: "It seems obvious to me. I'm Whitebeard!"

Mad Scientist: "It seems obvious to me. I'm a mad scientist!"

Primo: "Then why do you have those long faces? Because I know that some of you are thinking that you are no longer yourselves. Each of you can think and act as you want. If a person were controlled by someone else, they would not be here."

Primo: "I tell you my opinion. I believe that your story was sent into those people's minds, making them create it. So, this means that you are yourself and not a character created by others."

Goddess of Middle Two Diseases: "Cute words, I have to admit."

Edward Newgate: "You're right! Gurarara! I can't believe I got demoralized by this. It doesn't suit me at all. Thank you, Leader, for that."

Primo: "It's my job as a Leader. After all, I can't afford members to have these problems, or am I wrong."

Primo: "We are companions in this chat group, so if someone has some problem, I think the others can help. I think Othinus herself would not hesitate to help."

Goddess of Middle Two Diseases: "Hmph!"

Othinus doesn't know where the leader takes this belief that if a member is in danger, she will help. She doesn't really understand it.

She? To help someone?

Othinus shook her head, and with her, her golden hair.

"I don't understand you, you are so strong, and yet you behave this way. Where is the arrogance of a superior person!"

Hisashi, as he was watching the chat group slowly recover, he heard a bell.

Looking to the side, he saw that a new chat has opened.

Hisashi never expected this. After all, it's peculiar. So far, no one has contacted him privately.

So, opening this chat, Hisashi checked the message that was sent to him.

The first thing that came into his eyes was the sender, a certain Edward Newgate.

"Whitebeard? Why did he ever contact me."

Hisashi is really curious about why he contacted him. After all, he seems to have recovered and does not require any "moral support," as he believed some members would initially need.

Whitebeard is a strong-spirited person after all, so as soon as he accepted that, Hisashi thought he was alright.

Edward Newgate: "Leader, I wanted to ask you if you could tell me what my future would be like. Obviously, I'll give you something in return."

Hisashi revealed a surprised expression at what Whitebeard said.

Do you want to know your future?

He would not have expected this thing from Whitebeard; after all, the unknown is still something Whitebeard wants. He is a pirate, after all, but considering his desire, Hisashi believes he understands why.

Primo: "The first thing I want to ask you is if a little pirate named Monkey D. Luffy has already left for the sea."

Edward Newgate: "Money D. Luffy? Is he perhaps Garp's grandson?"

The surname Monkey D. is too familiar to him. It's, after all, the same surname as one of his old enemies.

Primo: "Yes, that's right, he's Garp's grandson, and from your words, I can probably confirm that he hasn't left yet for the sea, am I right?"

Whitebeard opened his eyes. He called one of his sons to give him a huge list of bounties. After giving it a quick look, Whitebeard re-entered the chat group.

Edward Newgate: "That's right. I just checked. There is no bounty with his name on it."

Hisashi nodded to what Whitebeard said. After all, it's always good that something hasn't happened yet. Luffy leaving Foosha Village will mark the beginning of Whitebeard's fall.

After all, now, as a member of this chat group, can Hisashi allow anything to happen to Whitebeard?

The answer is straightforward; no. Precisely for this reason, Hisashi said earlier that if one member is in trouble, the others wouldn't think twice about helping.

Hisashi knows that something is bound to happen.

Primo: "Your situation is not yet in danger."

Edward Newgate: "Danger? Me? Leader, I remind you that I am Whitebeard. How would I be in danger! Gurarara!"

Whitebeard doesn't really know where the leader gets this humor. How can he, Whitebeard, be in danger? After all, it's something inconceivable.

But after a few seconds of laughter, Whitebeard removed that smile of his. He understood that if the leader said that, there is a reason.

Edward Newgate: "Leader ... will something happen to me?"

He is not afraid of dying. The only thing he is afraid of is not being able to lead that reckless group of his children. If something should happen to them, he would not be able to forgive himself, both in life and death.

Primo: "Put simply, yes. One of your children will betray you for a Devil Fruit."

Edward Newgate: "Just that? It doesn't matter if one of my children wants to go explore this sea or if he has ambitions. As a father, I'm more than supportive!"

Primo: "But what if this son you love so much will bring you to ruin?"

Edward Newgate: "Leader, please explain yourself better!"

This time Whitebeard's face was more serious than ever. In fact, even the children who were next to Whitebeard, seeing this change of expression in their father's face, is something that left them stunned. After all, they've hardly ever seen Whitebeard have such an expression.

Primo: "This son will kill one of your sons to steal a Devil Fruit. After that, Ace, captain of the 2nd Division, will go to capture this criminal of your ship."

Primo: "He will clash, but he will lose. After that, he will be handed to the marine where he will be executed with you trying to save him. Obviously, you will also die, always at the hands of this son."

These words of the leader shocked Whitebeard to the core. Would one of his sons kill a brother of his? Will Ace die with him?

Whitebeard was silent for a full minute. Hisashi doesn't bother him. After all, he has nothing to do all day apart from training his understanding of the fruit. It's the only thing he can do right now.

Train your physical strength? He would not be able to achieve satisfactory results quickly, so he prefers to use a small shortcut even if the final result will be less strong, at least for the moment.

Edward Newgate: "What is this son's name ..."

Primo: "Marshall D. Teach, this is his name."

Edward Newgate: "Would Teach have done this? Inconceivable!"

Whitebeard wouldn't have expected Teach to do this. He's not such a person. He's sure of that ... at least he thought he was.

Edward Newgate: "Leader, the future is something that can be changed, right?"

Hisashi, reading this sentence, has already understood where Whitebeard wants to go. He cannot understand this, why on earth Whitebeard does not want to accept Teach's true character. He should have realized that he is not a person you can reason with if he made those things after years on his boat.

Primo: "... Yes, that's it, now that you practically know how things will go for you, the future has already changed."

Edward Newgate: "Thank you so much for telling me what my future would be like!"

Hisashi didn't answer Whitebeard. He doesn't want to answer. He can only sigh because he understands that if Whitebeard gets something into his head, it's not easy to make him change it.

Besides, he doesn't have that big place in Whitebeard's heart to make him give up one of his sons. Okay, he's the leader of this place that goes by the name of "Dimensional Chat Group," and he just told him his future, but so what?

He is nowhere near Whitebeard as his children are. If Whitebeard had to choose between him and his children, Hisashi is sure he would choose the latter.

The only thing he can do is shake his head.

By giving him the gift, Whitebeard was showing his appreciation.

"Stupid..."

That's right, for Hisashi Whitebeard is stupid, what he is doing is really stupid, but at the same time, he can't blame him for not accepting it.
