Review as of chapter 250 Decent sorry so far Still waiting for him to kill the lady that has been attacking him and plotting against him He has killer her lackeys and the oerosn above her yet by some heavenly plot armour. She liveth Also. The junior sister of his master has no redeeming quality. She is just baggage and extra. Not even sure what quality made her to be the disciple. She is not needed

I want to read the novel because i see it has 900+ chapters and has interesting cheat ability but... I don't know if i can take this mc anymore.. i've never seen anyone as idiotic as him... there are shameless characters but this guy isn't actually shameless.. he's just idiot.. his iq goes to negative.. he doesn't understand why people act different when he acts stupid.. I want to ask from someone that has read more chapters.. like 100+ or even 500+ if mc will eve get brains.. I'd guess not..
This at first seemed like your everyday translated novel that gets everyone riled up and arguing in the comments about how bad it is, but after a couple of chapters I could see a light brighter than some of the best original works on this app. At around the 200 chapter mark the writing quality took a giant leap, be it the translation quality or how it was written, and that leap also seemed to make this novel jump out of the original translated book and into a master piece. I had started to get really invested onto this novel and could only save my fast passes for the next chapter to release. Despite what everyone says and what the stats for most of the reviews on this novel, I can say that this is a short paced book because of how much detail and just how many events happen in the span of just one month. Looking at the reviews compared too the first 100 chapters they are insanely accurate but that leap in writing quality boosted the world building, how the MC feel and depth to those feelings while increasing his intelligence with his character. As I said the story development is fast paced and never stalls at one point in the story for too long or too short to give it a real life feel with everyday being lived to the fullest. The only complaint I have is that 900 chapters in we have barley scratched the surface of the world development even though it has enough world building to make two novels. If you would like to try out this book despite the reviews then I recommend to follow through to at least after they meet Shang Ti
sometimes the translation is God awful, which really ruins the flow of a novel that's very much about mind games. I love this novel though, and am happy to see it have so many chapters with the potential for many more
Terrible. The only good thing about this book is regular chapters. Don't even bother the mc is mentally challenged and just insufferable... Tbh i think the author tried to make a mc like lin fan or bai xiaochun ( a will eternal ) and just failed miserably. IF and only IF the author mad the mc less insufferable and gave him more than 3 braincells to run against one another it could have a been a great comedy, even if it were repetitive.
*If you don't like the comedy style you will not like this and if you're tired of cliches this is a good try* Really good tho the jokes become too much sometimes when simple things are dragged to a whole chapter. The power system combination with the cheat is really good and interesting. Also, the comedy brings an element of randomness allowing the author to sometimes break cliches and predictability. Most of the comedy is alright, some are terrible and some are really funny aka I laughed out loud. Do I wish there was less? yes but sometimes i want to read something that challenges my tastes.
if you are just gonna nerf the mc then just don't give him the opportunity to gain more power !! in every single fight, he holds back in caution of accidentally harming the opponent !!... ... not saying it's bad but it's sometime frustrating with how passive he gets and character development is too slow!!!
Dropped at 41, to have mentally unstable person as mc is not my cup of tea, and it is not funny, and its still same old gacha where the mc got what he need at certain times, not about the mc using all what he got to solve problems and improve
Chess player control chess pieces. This story open my fking mind many times. Give this story a chance. Please be patience and watch MC growing up. The Early phase of this story make MC seems dumb but actually the author intentionally did it in order let the MC knows how vast of the fking world he live in (in terms of brain power and authority).

One of the really good novels, but translation is terrible on chapter 786 and farther on. Hope this machine translation stop and normal translator return.
This would be a good story, but the translation quality is extremely erratic ranging from ok to absolute machine translated rubbish. This is especially true of the most recent chapters.
don't be like those people who don't read because of a bad review the only reason this has a bad review is because of their dumb reason some say he is stupid(he is very smart) with his dumb decision(every action has a reason) I have caught up with this novel and ask anything you want I will answer all of it. Those low reviews are written by dumb mother f****R everything they said is wrong don't be mislead by them.
The story is hilarious It has a good plot and has a wonderful script The way of writing of incidents also keeps the readers to continue reading
Great novel, I really enjoyed this one. Mc is smart, op, and does a pretty good job of using his system effectively. He probably goes a bit overboard sometimes to get points at the expense of him getting too much attention. He shows off his abilities too much, but other than that he's not reckless. A few of the parts where everything goes up in flames made me laugh way too hard, so that's a bonus too. I didn't really care for the whole idea of everyone being pawns, but it wasn't too much of an issue. Unfortunately, I had to drop it at ch420 due to the translation turning into machine translation level of trash suddenly.
Overall there is not much expanding on world building aside from plot progression that gives a info dump. The translation quality is crude and unedited. Main drawing point is the comedic effect of the MC and faceslapping.

mc is simultaneously dumb and unlikable . mc alone ruins the whole book. I'm all for dumb mc's but at least make me want to like them. this one is just a narcissist and annoying. dropped

it's decent, Its nothing special except for mabye the setting. That's pretty different then what I'm commonly seeing in these novels. I really like this novel actually you know what forget what I said, I really like it and the setting is very different despite not being actually all to different than some others, it's hard to put in words but you get what I mean. I like the main character but there's nothing to special about them and the cast is pretty generic but the quality is super good so thats largely counteracted and it's just generally good. Despite a kind of blank feeling cast.

Comedy scenes were not funny at all. Although the scenes were meant to be funny, the way they were narrated in novel were very plain and sometimes stupid. World background was very bad. There are many plot holes in the story.
Truly a great read worth the time. Excellent characters, good comedy, serious moments, and reliable update schedule. Worth the time investment i just wish chapters would come out faster.
Translator team need to visit psychologist, seem like they have DID, keep changing the name even in one same chapter, well as expected from webnovel's translator, they have the same sickness whatever the studio name has the same problem, and their greed also over the top, never read the comment, never check if the chapter need edit or not, only think about to get money from reader, and when they lose their reader because their own fault, they stop translating the novel and move to other projects. has many unfinished novel in this website.

the story is pretty funny the fights are pretty good but I know a lot of people are tired of swords so you should know that this story is extremely focused on swords around chapter 65 the mc starts to become a super genius that can plan around plans
I read till chapter 590, and all I can say is that the translation of this novel has been going downhill since it reached the 200s. I lost alot of my brain cells just trying to understand what the heck is going on in each chapter. I personally don't recommend people to read this novel.
This one is good but there are a some glaring discrepancies in the translation after the free chapters. If it was translated, proof-read and edited better, I would definitely buy the whole book.
