After dealing with Valenka in his bedroom, Kage's keen senses caught a faint variation in the ambient noise, accompanied by intermittent beeping. He followed the sound until it led him to a metallic circular disk inside his backpack.
Kage tentatively reached out and touched the center of the disk, unleashing a cascade of light that formed into a stunning 3D holographic projection of Gisele. Her radiant smile illuminated the darkness as she locked eyes with Kage, who couldn't help but return the gesture.
"What's the urgency, Gisele?" Kage questioned.
Gisele's expression shifted, a mixture of determination, "I just needed hear my boyfriend's voice, Also to tell about the mission General Hawks is sending me on."
As Gisele's holographic form shimmered with a faint ethereal glow, Kage's mind raced with a thousand questions,"What mission could possibly warrant such urgency?" he inquired, his voice tinged with a hint of worry.
With a resigned sigh, Gisele's image flickered momentarily before stabilizing once more. "It's connected to your mission, Kage. We are talked us with retrieving a valuable asset named Lindsey Farris, a skilled operative who has been tracking a shadowy organization known as Quantum. We suspect they're the same group behind Le Chiffre's nefarious schemes."
Kage absorbed the gravity of Gisele's words, his mind racing as he processed the implications of her mission.
As Gisele's holographic figure flickers to life before him, Kage listens intently to her report. "Also, we found some disparities," she says, her voice tinged with concern. "Vesper Lynd," Kage murmurs, absorbing the details on his screen. "Works for HM Treasury, involved in government finance and policy." The implications of her involvement in the mission raise a red flag in Kage's mind. While the GI Joes have collaborated with various agencies in the past, this feels different—more calculated, more suspicious.
Turning his attention back to the holographic figure of Gisele, Kage's expression is serious. "Keep an eye on her," he advises, his tone firm and resolute. In the murky world of espionage, trust is a precious commodity, and Kage knows they can't afford to overlook any potential threats.
Then Kage as he gazed at Gisele's holographic form, his concern for her safety overshadowing his own fears. "Promise me you'll tread carefully," he implored.
Gisele's holographic image shimmered with a mixture of warmth and determination as she blew a phantom kiss towards Kage. "I'll have Scarlett and Breaker by my side," she reassured him, her voice echoing in the stillness of the night. "We'll watch each other's backs, just like always.Love you."
As Gisele's holographic projection faded into the darkness, leaving Kage alone with his thoughts.
