Capítulo 10: War
Victor came home to a dinning room filled with all his favorite dishes that his mother had personally cooked for him. The Yvonne family ate graciously and joyfully before the sad departure of the eldest son. In a blink of an eye morning came, and Victon had to leave early for a long journey. The journey took 3 days by carriage, 2 days by horse alone. The servants took Victon's belongings to the carriage as he hugged his family goodbye. His mother and the twins cried and wailed.
"You guys acting like I'm going to die, don't curse me" said Victon.
"It's the same as dying to go into the front lines fool! Eat three times a day and don't skip your meals. Take naps if you get tired from your work. If anything happens, let us know okay? You have to write letters back once a month! Love you forever and always" His mother nagged with her red puffy eyes.
"Yes, mother" Victon replied.
"I'm going to miss you brother" Desmond cried.
"Stay healthy and safe or how else will you come back for me to beat you!" Hendery said crying his eyes out.
"Write to us to report if anything happens" said his father giving him a fatherly hug.
Victon boarded the carriage, waved his family goodbye, and wiped away his tears with a handkerchief. He looked down at the poor embroidery of the handkerchief and murmured, "wait for me, I'll be back."

The first year of being in the Seadine fief, Victor had seen some intruders coming from the other side of the border. The intruders would come into the fief because it had look like an abandoned castle. It was Victon's idea to make the fief looked abandoned because he had expected this. Victon also decrease the number of staffs in the castle making the castle look and feel empty. He made the once beautiful castle into a gloomy and haunted one. It was a trap for the intruders as they were immediately caught and brought into the underground dungeon. Victon had reported to his father and the officials about the matter for them to deal with these criminals.
The ones that didn't seek shelter went to nearby villages to collect any type of information about the Starlight kingdom. However, the war started when an imposter snuck into the castle of Starlight and killed an the Minister of Defense. The imposter was using the disguised of one of the ministers and tried extracting information about the kingdom's weak points. But the Minster of Defense became suspicious so in a panic the imposter killed the Minister and was caught in the act. The imposter had died after using the Venus's way of honorable suicide: eating a poison pill hidden in his mouth. Doctors of the royal family had investigated the poison that the imposter used. They found out this poison is from a plant named Jeraq that only grows in the Venus Kingdom, as they needed warm weather year round.
From then and onwards, the Starlight Kingdom had declared war against the Venus Kingdom.

5 years later into the war.
"Commander Yvonne!" A knight said with a salute, "A message from General Kav! The Hong Jin kingdom has joined the war to come and aide the Starlight Kingdom. Reinforcements from both Hong Jin kingdom and ours will come by early next week!"
The Starlight kingdom and Hong Jin kingdom are on the right coast of the Guinae continent, with Starlight being the biggest country. With Hong Jin's support, it would be easy to wipe Venus off the map when they're cornered.
"That's some good news, return to your post" Victon said.
The Seadine fief was being used as the front line base for the war. Victon had fought in many invasions, missions and battles... too many to count within the pass six years. He took out Megan's handkerchief from his chest pocket, looking at it he relived his memories. He had missed her dearly, along with his family and friends. Being a commander was hard and stressful, he only had this handkerchief to remind him to fight on... that he's almost at the finish line. After that he can meet with her again.
With that determination Commander Yvonne fought on. Victon later was promoted to General Yvonne with his powerful and cunning military tactics.
A year later there was a huge battle as Venus used their last straw to gamble for a win, but eventually was trampled on by the two kingdoms working together. Venus surrendered, giving the fame and glory to the Starlight kingdom and their friend, the Hong Jin kingdom.
