"A boat?" The words forced through Jide lips, almost inaudible from the heavy pants.

"Yes." Mizuha sounded more firm, like she was used to absconding like this. "This way we can quickly get to Varoka."

The gentle clapping of the waves in front of them seeped into Jide's ears and he frowned. They had been running in the forest for the past few days, through different pathways, all to arrive here, at this river that had glittering upon it, the setting sun.

That was when he noticed that it wasn't just one boat that was rocking gently on the surface of the river.

"By Alusa, boats! How long have you been planning this escape thing, Mizuha?"

"Forever." She answered with a sense of pride, her legs quickly heading towards the river. "If Alusa's army hadn't come, we would have escaped either ways. This had just made things easy for us, that's all." She flashed him a smile, when her legs dipped into the river. "Are you coming, Revolutionary Man?"
