Having been away for years, there was nothing more that the young king wanted more than to go back home. He had so many plans that he needed to execute and yet as each day passed, he always found a reason to postpone.

On most days, he wasn't sure what his mate would say about what he had done while on other days, he lived in the horror of a life that shouldn't have been.

King Unar Stitt had been in self-exile for many years, and even as he walked around today the loneliness he had been feeling hadn't left him.

"You're ever going to be ready at this rate. Maybe you should just give up. Besides, you're the king, you can always choose another erasthai," he said, and to that, Unar let out a laugh.

Clearly, these people didn't know shit about him.

He had been here for almost eighty years and frankly, he had been counting but on some days he felt like there was just no point in doing that anymore.
