"He's crazy. He's going nuts. This kid is determined to kill me before my days are over. This little shit. What the fuck does he think he is doing?" Zelina asked as she saw Alanor transform into his human form and let himself be the target of the lycans. 

It was obvious the lycans were resistant, but the young Wyntr seemed to be convinced that he was doing charity for the world. Oh but Zelina would show him what charity looked like. 

That little shit was putting himself in danger again, and the fact that he thought this was an accomplishment made it even more unsettling. It was hard to tell whether Alanor Wynter was bluffing or he had cotton stuffed in his senses.

"Careful, Navali. I don't want you getting hurt because of the lycans," Ulrike softly said to his mate who looked ready to jump into the line of fire.
