Fahima looked at the prince, the worry on his face, making her want to ask him what was wrong but the fact that the prince had begun by greeting Gideon, was proof that he had already heard the rumors.

Maybe her questions about his well-being could take a back seat for the moment, because who knew what Unar would do in his anger?

Fahima had thought and thought from the moment the first of the rumors had hit Udrad and even she couldn't believe it. Sure, there was a dark cloud hovering gleefully around Gideon, but that could be attributed to his brutality that everyone was painstakingly aware of.
