As the sun slowly rose and shine over the forests of Night Love city, Demar, who was to be in bed, was wide awake standing at the edge of a cliff where he could see the beauty of the city.
This cliff was his quiet place and very few people he had ever brought here. If he was to bring you here, it would mean he trusted you; trusted you enough to let you see what brought him peace.
Demar may come off as delicate and cold, but the path he had taken changed the way he behaves and look at the world.
At a young age, he was leading a group of criminals, but to him, he didn't see it as leading criminals. He saw all his men as another generation fighting to stay alive and that's why he will never give up this path he had chosen to walk on.
Life is a journey and there are many paths you can take to reach your destination. No one can't judge you for the path you took to journey. At the end of your journey, you should know if it was worthy or not.
Demar isn't perfect, but he always tries to find the good in life. Being a criminal wasn't a good look, but if you look at life, is it a good look?
"Persons that are not labelled as criminals are they good people?" Demar asks himself as he reflects on the risky path he took on to journey on. "Aha, I have a pure heart, but I do bad things. So, does that makes me a criminal or a human being?"
"I should head home now. It's always nice to see the view here," he said as he took one last look at the city, then turned his back to the view and left.

At the cafe. . .
After he had headed home and freshened up, he went back out for a morning coffee at a popular cafe in the city.
Everything was going smoothly when a man came and took a seat beside him.
Demar turn to look at the man who had just taken a seat beside him, then raise his eyebrow as he saw who the man was.
"How's your morning going, Mr Benjamin?" the man asks with a smile.
Demar look him in the eyes then reply, "It's been good and you, Mr Brooks?"
Mr Brooks chuckled before saying, "My morning has been going well and so can your if you agree to my deal."
"Are you threatening me?"
"O no, son. I'm threatening your morning," Mr Brooks replied with an evil smile.
Demar closes his eyes, inhaled and exhaled before speaking again.
"Mr Brooks, you know you are in my territory?" Demar asks with an evil smile present on his face.
"Are you threatening me?"
"O no, father. I'm threatening your life," Demar said, which made Mr Brooks laughs.
"HAHA! You are a funny young man," Mr Brooks said, "Only if we could be partners and not enemies."
"If only. . ." Demar replied as he fake a smile.
Mr Brooks then took out a document and place it on the table before Demar and said, "Do you remember our little deal?"
"No, I don't."
"Well, let me drag your memory... Zora."
Demar clasped his hands before resting them on the table, then look at Mr Brooks and said, "You will have to do better than that."
"HAHA! See... you are a funny fellow!" Mr Brooks began to laugh as he thought this meeting would be fun.
"The deadline for the wedding has changed. You will marry Rebecca in two days."
Demar look into Mr Brooks' eyes and said, "I guess you don't worry about your daughter's life?"
Mr Brooks smiles evilly before saying, "I realize you didn't say, daughters. Did you find out that Zora isn't my child?"
"I guess you are one step ahead of me. Am I right or am I right?" Demar asks as if Mr Brooks' presence did not intimidate him.
"Who knows?" Mr Brooks replied as he smiles.
Demar smiles at Mr Brooks, took out a pen from his jacket and sign the documents that were before him.
It surprised Mr Brooks that he signed it with no fuss, which made him smile.
"I see that your morning is no longer being threatened," Mr Brooks said, as he smiled evilly.
"And I see your life is no longer being threatened," Demar replied as he smiles evilly at Mr Brooks.
Mr Brooks was pleased with the way things turned out, then took his leave.

At the hospital. . .
Slowly her eyes opened as she struggles to see properly as her vision was blurry.
Before she could scan her surroundings, someone spoke.
"You are awake at the right time."
Hearing the voice of the person who spoke, Zora knew exactly who it was, which caused her to form her hands into a fist.
"Hey no need to get so worked up; after all, I came with some good news."
"Which is?" Zora question.
"Your baby-daddy and I are going to be married in two days and I am inviting you. Exciting, right!"?
"I don't care and I am not coming."
The person walks up to Zora hold on to her hand as she was still laying down.
"Zora... are you still mad at me?" the person asks cutely.
"Mad at you? You aren't important to me, Rebecca, so why would I still be mad at you?" Zora said as she looks up to the ceiling to avoid making eye contact with Rebecca.
"You mean not anymore?" Rebecca asks with a smile.
Zora manage to free her hand from Rebecca's grip and said annoyingly, "Why are you the first person I'm greeted with?"
"O, that's because I know that you would have wake today. Your baby daddy and the doctor, who works for baby daddy have no clue when you will wake."
"Can you leave? I want to sleep," Zora said as she closes her eyes.
Rebecca smiled evilly, then said, "How do you feel to know I will have everything that's yours?"
"Honestly, happy. Because anything you have for me means it was never mined or it's just my trash because that's all you will ever get from me."
Hearing what Zora had to say, Rebecca snapped and was going to hit Zora, but when the door of Zora's room was open she stop.
The person that open the door was Dr Joseph and when he saw Rebecca in the room, he quickly send her away.
"Leave, now."
Rebecca gave Zora her dead eyes, but since Zora's eyes were closed, she was unaffected.
After Rebecca left, Dr Joseph close the door behind him as he entered.
"It's good to have you awake again. Demar is on his way here," Dr Joseph said as he was checking on Zora to see if she was okay.
"Who is Demar?"
Hearing Zora's question, Dr Joseph thought Zora had lost her memory since she didn't know who was Demar.
"Demar is the man that saves you."
"Demar is the name of the mafia that kisses me so much. I see."
Hearing Zora speak about being kissed by Demar a lot, he realizes she hasn't lost her memory. She just never knew his name, which he found strange.
"Would you like me to turn on the television?" Dr Joseph asks kindly.
"Sure, and thank you for what you have done to help me get well."
Dr Joseph smiles then turns the television on but was shocked by the news that was being broadcast on the television.
"The Brooks seems to be making the headline news lately as Rebecca Brooks will be getting married to Demar Benjamin, the owner of over 10 big companies. We all wish you the best of luck on your wedding day, Rebecca."
Seeing what was happening on the television, Zora turns onto her side and closes her eyes as she tries to fall asleep.
Seeing that, Dr Joseph lock off the television as he knew Zora probably didn't want to hear what was happening on the television.
"I will take my leave," Dr Joseph said, then left.

At Demar's mansion. . .
"Just as we thought, Mr Brooks visited me," Demar said, as he was in the underground basement with Demarco and Mr Benjamin.
"Two days feel very long, don't you think?" Demarco asks with a smile.
"It sure is," Demar and Mr Benjamin said with a smirk on their face.
After the meeting in the underground basement, Demar head to the hospital with the gifts he had prepared for Zora when she's awake.
