Capítulo 42: Returning Back

“What happened to your eyes, they are all swelled up?” Dev asked me as he joined me in the kitchen when, I was making coffee for myself.

“I didn’t get much sleep last night,” I replied while pouring my coffee in a green smooth coffee mug.

“Why?” he asked while gazing at me with his wide eyes.

“It…. It’s just the bed isn’t much comfortable,” I stammered avoiding his gaze.

“It’s weird,” he murmured.

“What’s weird in this,” I asked clearing my throat.

“Nothing,” he replied while shrugging his broad shoulders, and his phone started buzzing while kept on the slab of the kitchen.

“Who, is calling me in this morning he murmured,” while picking up his phone.

“Hello,” he said as he takes the call.

The rest talks of his, was out of my mind, he is talking in very fluent Hindi.

I was just noticing the expression of his face while turning over to the slab and gazing at him.

His, face almost turned pale, as he said bye on his phone.
