Capítulo 12: Rejection
I’ve settled myself on my bed, without reaching any conclusion about her behaviour.
“We’ve told them that you’ll do the exclusive interview after your recovery,” Noah, informed me after clearing the traffic.
“Are they going to publish any articles about this?” I asked, going through my phone for any breaking news.
“It’ll be out soon,” he continued, “I was..trying...,”
“It’s just okay,” I said cutting him off.
“You’re not going to shout…,” he said, widening his big eyes even more.
“No…. should I?” I asked, stretching my lips in a forced smile, shifting my gaze at him.
“No,” he replied, in a mild tone.
“Do my discharge formalities, and inform the media~ I’m moving to New York for further treatment,” I said, throwing my phone on the bed after switching it off.
As, it won’t stop ringing after the articles.
“New York, for further treatment,” he repeated.
“Yes, New York, and make sure fans won’t create commotion there,” he replied.
“I’ll tell them to do the formalities,” he replied.
“And don’t pick up, if anyone calls you,” I said, after him.
“But why?” he mumbled.
I shifted my gaze at him without saying anything more.
“I’ll not..,” he mumbled, as he left closing the door after him.
I leaned my head on the wall, trying not to think anymore about her.

Noah knocked the door after five minute.
“Come inside,” I said.
“Your jet will be here in twenty minutes, and I couldn’t contact Mr. Lee,” he reported everything casually.
“Oh! Don’t call that old geezer,” I replied.
“But still…,” he murmured.
“Do you want to resign?” I asked, coldly.
“I won’t call him,” he continued.
“Then I’ll be outside.”
“Wait, I need to ask you something,” I continued, clearing my throat.
“Ahem...It’s not about me, It’s just I’m curious,”
Noah, stared at me attentively.
“What’ll you do, if you get rejected?” I asked in a breath.
“Rejected...did someone reject you,” he asked, raising his brows.
“What are you saying! It’s not about me,” I replied, raising my voice.
“Ah! nothing,” he replied.
“Why?” I asked.
“As, per the current population, there are 120.8 females of age 18-30, so I would’ve a lot of chances,”
“I’m not talking about you,” I said, cutting him off.
“Then?” he asked as his eyes glued at me.
“Would you leave me alone?” I said, frowning.
“You’re there, I need your signature,” I overheard Joy.
She moved inside as she noticed Noah in my room.
I shut my mind not to think about her behavior again and we both pretend as we don’t know each other.
