I felt as if the ground had shifted from beneath me. By breaths came out in gasps.
It couldn't be.
I was probably hallucinating it all because of the blood loss.
I looked up and my eyes locked with Wills grey ones, and at that moment I knew that it was true, no hallucination. Two grey orbs stared at me, swirling with so much emotion. Emotions I couldn't quite read.
"Marriah please." He reached out for me again, his eyes pleading with me.
I stepped back, away from him, like his touch would burn me.
"Don't touch me!" I spat out. "S-stay away."
I was getting dizzy now, the exhaustion was finally getting to me. This was all too much. I struggled to keep my eyes open but my legs gave way and I slid to the floor.
I saw Will run towards me, I was too tired to move away. Suddenly I felt myself being lifted up in two strong arms.
"Leave me alone." I managed a whisper.
"Never." Came the firm reply as I felt his arms tighten around me.
