Diluc lounged around for the rest of the day. His lounging around included napping, watching T.V and flirting with Kath and Yuria when only him, and his soon to be wives were around. Momo was more reserved when it came to flirting, although she would always be latched onto him like a koala.
Also, Kath was always the one to initiate the teasing. Yuria only ever went along with Kath's teasing and flirting, she never initiated it herself.
And thus, the rest of the evening went by. They all were exhausted for different reasons; Yuria and Kath as they were trying to get better at cooking, something that they weren't very experienced in, while Momo and Diluc were exhausted after their first day at school. They all went to sleep.
Momo had Diluc's chest for her own while Yuria was hugging his left arm and Katherine his right. After many attempts in many different positions, this was the one that everyone collectively enjoyed.
Diluc sunk into his sleep with a smile on his face. No matter how insane you were, everyone can appreciate having a harem. (Except Japanese harem protagonists apparently.)
(A.N. Ok this is something I need to rant about. You telling me that Issei, the most perverted protagonist I've seen, is still a virgin? (I've only seen up to S3 and I don't remember him losing his virginity. Correct me if I'm wrong.) I mean Rias literally threw herself at him and he didn't bang? And then there's Rito from To Love Ru. He's an even bigger disappointment. C'mon bro, alien women are throwing themselves at you, you can become a galactic king and you don't take the chance immediately? Anyway, that was my small rant. I hate Japanese protagonists, Goodbye for now!)
Once again, Diluc finds himself at the Doom, Bloodborne, Dark Souls selection screen. Today, as a celebration, he decided that he was going to explore one of the other worlds for a change of pace.
Thus, he clicked on the Doom banner. However, instead of getting sucked into literal hell, a message popped up.
----------------------------------------------------
You have not met the prerequisites for Doom!
Skill Required: [Rage]
----------------------------------------------------
Instead of being angry or annoyed, he was more surprised than anything. He had never heard of skills from the system yet, so why was [Rage] a skill he had to learn. And how would he even learn it?
Regardless, he expunged the questions from his brain and instead turned to Bloodborne. If he was to be honest, this was the one he wanted to explore last. Bloodborne was by far his favorite game, even between Dark Souls and Doom. The theme, combat, lore, everything fit perfectly. However, because of how well-versed he is in it, he also knew how terrible it was.
Everything wanted you dead; beasts, people, enemies, allies. Everything. That was what was so worrying about Bloodborne, not to mention you could also go insane. Although he wasn't sure how that'd work for him considering it was real for him.
He sucked up his fears and clicked the banner. To his disappointment, he was transported to the world without any prerequisite skills unlike Doom.
He came to and found himself on a bloody stretcher in the middle of what seemed to be a doctor's operating room in plague doctor times. There was a pungent smell that filled the air.
Diluc easily snapped the straps that were restricting his movement and stood up. He took a quick second to steel himself and continued down the only path he could. Next thing he knew he was getting devoured by a blood-soaked wolf.
'What?' He was extremely confused. Diluc had tried to fight the wolf without any weapons. He justified this to himself as he was much stronger because of his experience in Dark Souls, not only skill wise but also physically as well. The wolf would be easy to kill right? No.
As soon as he woke up in the hunter's dream, instead of greeting Gherman who was patiently waiting in the small building above the stairs, Diluc opted to check his stats.

Diluc was depressed to see that he was once again weak. However, on the upside; he could feel his ability to make use of his body had increased. He felt a dramatic increase in skill.
Diluc could only surmise this to be a side-effect of being a hunter. There were no hunters that were barbaric after all. He also assumed that the stats in brackets were his overall stats while those not in them were his current stats.
This was an important piece of information. This meant that he could also strengthen himself with blood echos as well as souls. His real strength would skyrocket if he stayed here for a while just grinding, however, he knew that was an unneeded boost. It wasn't like he had to fight any strong villains in real life yet so he could take it easy for now.
And take it easy he did. He introduced himself to Gherman.
(A.N. If you haven't caught on, I'll be creating dialogue for those in the hub world while the other NPC's will have their usual voice lines.)
"Hello old man. Mind informing me of my current location?" Diluc did his best to talk like an aristocrat but he came off more as an annoying nerd.
"Ah, A new hunter? Well, my boy. You are in the hunter's dream. You can use this place to recover your energy or gain strength. However, you are not ready to gain strength. You must face the atrocities of this world before you are able to. Now, go out and join the hunt." Gherman said. Just like the firekeeper, his dialogue was different from the game but Diluc paid it no mind.
"Will do. Mind if I borrow a book? Thanks." Diluc replied as he smirked and took a book with a black cover off of Gherman's stack of books. Gherman simply nodded before realizing that the new hutner had taken his favorite book!
"Hey! That's my best book! Give it back!" Gherman wheeled himself to the very top of the stairs but wasn't able to catch Diluc as he had already gotten to the stairs where his wheelchair wouldn't be able to function.
Instead of listening to Gherman, Diluc simply pocketed the book and approached the small, pale creatures on the stairs. They were in two separate groups, all looking at Diluc.
He approached them and they showed him his weapon choices by splitting into 3 smaller groups.
The first group split into three smaller groups; one holding an extendable axe, one holding a saw cleaver and the last holding a cane.
Now, Diluc was in for the most agonizing decision of his life. Does he choose the strong weapon or the best weapon? After almost an hour of Gherman screaming at the young hunter, he decided to take the pimp cane.
It was by no means the strongest weapon he could've received but it was certainly the best. Who wouldn't want to beat up beasts in a suit, top hat and cane?
And lastly, he approached the second big clump of the small pale creatures. They split into two groups this time; one holding a normal flintlock pistol while the other had a much larger barrel that looked like it shot 12 gauge shells.
Obviously, he chose the blunderbuss. It was between a shotgun pistol and a normal pistol, there was no chance.
He was now equipped with a pimp cane that could turn into a metallic whip and a large blunderbuss. He was garbed in normal hunter's gear and looked like he could and would kill Orphaned Gods.
However, instead of actually going out into Yharnam and killing everything that looked at him funny. He decided to read instead. Gherman was glaring at him but he was no longer shouting.
Diluc pulled out the book with a black cover and read the title.
'How to Pick Up Fair Maidens'
This was the most prized possession of the terrifying hunter Gherman and Diluc had successfully gotten away with stealing it.
The contents of the book were surprising. It was actually helpful within its context. It gave decent tips on how to attract women without acting desperate. Not to mention, many segments were quite humorous.
However, true to the note at the very front of the book, it was not possible to attract every woman using the tips in this book. Women were quite confusing creatures and a generalized guide would not work to seduce every one of them.
This was quite obvious when looking at Gherman. He tried to use the tips in this book to try and seduce Maria. Needless to say, Gherman did not seduce her although the reverse was true. In fact, the reverse was so true that Gherman had created a living doll that looked like Maria.
(A.N. If you don't know who Maria is, not worries. It isn't essential and it'll be explained later anyway.)
(A.N.2. Sorry if this chapter was worse than my others. I have a mad headache.)
