Capítulo 8: Yunkai
[Apologies, I've been busy playing Cyberpunk 2077 and it's absolutely amazing, I plan on making a fanfic on it soon]
Upon entering the city of Yunkai, he greeted by the eyes of everyone, they weren't looking at him but his familiar.
A fat teen with a single slave guard pushes through the crowd before tossing a small bag at him.
"Here are some coins, I'm taking this beast for myself", he says as he tries to grab Amica with his grubby hands.
He's stopped as Alex grabs his face and burns him alive, the boy's screams fill the street.
A nobleman escorted by slaves soldiers surround him, "You have just arrived, and yet you kill a nobleman's son"
Alex points towards Amica, "he tried to take what is mine, I suggest you don't make the same mistake"
The nobleman looks down at the body, "he was my son, a useless buy that deserved what he got but if I let you go without doing anything then I'll be considered weak... and we can't let that happen. So answer me one question, how did you set my boy on fire?"
Alex raises his hand and produces fire from it, "Magic is my specialty"
[Before anyone gets butthurt because the MC showed his magic, it's my story]
The eyes of the nobleman, slaves, and citizens go wide.
The nobleman laughs, "I am Knoxius, a magician is always welcome in the city, come see me once you make a name for yourself"
As the crowd begins to disperse, Alex looks at Amica who looks just as confused as he does.
He begins making his way deeper into the city, he sees a large market filled with all kinds of things but the main commodity is slaves.
Raised on a platform stands a tall, thin man with slicked-back black hair and copper skin.
Behind the man stands seven people with collars on their necks, chains on their hands and feet.
The man addresses the crowd, "Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce my finest wares"
Alex sits on a nearby crate as the spectacle continues, 'system, do you have an ability that will allow me to see people's general information as well as their stats?"

After receiving the skill and the information on how to use it, he looks at the slaves on the platform.

The information on the other four slaves appears weaker than the average person and not important.
He raises his hand before the bidding can start, "How much for the first three from the left to the right?"
The thin man looks at him and a smile appears on his face, "two hundred coins each"
Alex light his hand ablaze with fire, "How about i owe you three favors and i get them for free?"
A mixture of emotion passes through the merchant's face, the favor of a magician is a thing you will rarely get but he's a merchant at the end of the day, money is power.
After a moment of thinking, the merchant nods his head, "I am Leonard Hurst, and you are?"
"Alexander Aeric", he says while shaking the man's hand.
After talking with the merchant for a while, he purchases a room for the night in a nearby tavern.
Sitting on a stool in the nicest room he could afford, he looks at his newly acquired assets.
Oriana, Lorenzo, and Kong stand side to side next to the wall.
Oriana stands at 5'4ft with short black hair, blue eyes, and surprisingly pale skin, her body is thin yet athletic.
Lorenzo stands at 5'10ft with shoulder-length brown hair, green eyes, and tanned skin, his body is that of a warrior, strong lean muscles, across his body.
Kong stands at a whopping 6'5ft with a bald head, multiple facial scars, brown eyes, and normal caucasian skin, his body is built around strength, large muscles cover his body.
"Nod if you can understand me", Alex says as they all look at the ground, hearing his words, they all nod.
"Raise your heads and look at me when i talk to you".
Doing as they command, they look at the young adult they just saw cast magic that covered his hand in flames.
As he sees their eyes on him, he continues talking, "Orianna, Lorenzo, and Kong, i know your names and i will refer to you as such, you may only refer to me as my Lord, clear?"
They nod again in unison, happy internally that they heard their names again after years of being called slave, and treated as objects.
"Orianna, tell me your skills and how you can be of use to me, if you fail to prove useful, I'll send you back to Hurst"
She gulps before opening her mouth, "I was a thief before i became a slave, I'm good at remaining unseen and taking things without people noticing, and i was trained as a bed slave"
Alex nods, "Good, you shall keep me warm at night then until i have need of a thief"
As Lorenzo sees his new master looking at him, he steps forward, "I was a merc for seven years, i can be your bodyguard but i suspect Kong has that covered, i trained recruits how to fight, if you hire more slaves, i can each them"
Alex looks at him for a moment, "I'm sure I'll have a use for you in the future"
Kong starts talking as Lorenzo steps back in line, "I come from the North, beyond the wall, i specialize in killing, plain and simple, point me in a direction and stay out of the way"
After their introductions, he rises from his sitting position, "Serve me without fault for ten years and I'll grant you your freedom, i give you my word"
They look at him in disbelief before bowing their heads again, "yes, my lord"
[Heads Up: i plan on making a Star Wars Gamer story and a Cyberpunk fanfic, keep an eye out for them]
[Before anyone asks, no, I'm not dropping this story]
