Katherina Blackwood's POV

'You knew this was coming, Katherina' Rick tried to console me but I couldn't stop the tears.

I felt Rick's hand on my thigh and I quickly snapped my head towards his direction. His eyes are soft and caring.

'I know how you're feeling, sweety' His voice was so tender 'I'm so sorry that this is happening to you'

'Even you're going, right?' my voice was a mere whisper.

He removed his hand from my thigh and gripped the steering wheel.

'Trust me, if I could do anything, anything to stop this, I'll blindly do it' He grunted.

'I don't blame you'

'Well, you should. You should blame all of us!'

I leaned on the window sill and wiped my tears away. A number of thoughts were running in my mind but none of them are going to provide me a solution. This time, there is no way out.

When the car stopped at the hotel, I got down quietly.

'Katherina,' Came Rick's voice and turned around to him.
