Capítulo 22: Vibrator Master...
The anger in Fubuki's face immediately subsided after hearing Duke's words. Fubuki almost laughed out loud.
"Ha. Ha. Ha. Although you are strong but if you want to beat my sister...", Fubuki said with a slight laughter in her voice.
The meaning in Fubuki's words was obvious, she didn't believe that Duke could beat the Tornado of Terror.
"What is my strength ? Do you even really know my strength ?", Duke asked in an irritated tone as his eyebrows were raised.
The overwhelming confidence of Duke had stunned Fubuki who was speechless.
"But it's impossible to beat my sister...", Fubuki said in a daze.
"Nothing is impossible. As you said before there are many monstrously strong heroes in this world. Although I am not the strongest heroes, I am one of the monstrously strong heroes.", Duke said as he thought of Saitama and when will he be able to defeat him. Duke continued to play his video game as he fiddled with the game console.
Fubuki fell silent as she bit her nails nervously. Somehow Duke's words had shaken her beliefs. In the living room, neither of them spoke and only the sound of the video game could be heard.
Maybe Duke can really beat sister... no ... no... it's impossible, sister is too strong, Fubuki thought to herself.
"Since you are so strong, what if we the Blizzard Group collect enough points to raise your level from B Class hero to A Class hero. What do you think ?", Fubuki asked Duke.
"No. A Level heroes have too many tasks. A Level heroes have to do regular patrol of the city, this will rob me of my game time.", Duke replied as he continued to play his video game.
Fubuki almost vomited blood hearing Duke's reply, saying that he was super strong then refusing to move up the hero ranking, Fubuki wondered if Duke was talking nonsense.
Fubuki patted the table, she must make sure Duke knew the consequences of tricking her, Fubuki said, "Vibrator Master...".
Snapped !
This was the sound of game console being crushed.
Duke's face turned black and he turned his head to face Fubuki.
"Little girl, what did you just say ?!", Duke asked in an murderous tone.
The huge murderous intent had terrified Fubuki. There was an illusion as if the world was filled with blood, that's how strong Duke's murderous intent was at the mention of his hero name. The murderous intent made Fubuki's knees weak. She immediately grasped her cup of cold water and asked, "I just want to ask if you had green tea or red wine in your house ?".
"No !", Duke said as he immediately changed his game console and continued his game.
"Forget it. Cold water is good in this hot weather.", Fubuki said sweetly.
Vibrator Master, Duke's heroic name given by the heroes association because of his fighting style.
A hero name is not something you can obtain when you become a hero. There is a period of assessment by the heroes association. Only if the heroes association deems that you are eligible can you have a hero name. For example, Saitama who was promoted to B Level hero was given the hero name Caped Baldy according to his characteristic. Another example is Genos, who was active as an S Class hero for a period of time before he received his hero name Demon Cyborg.
As for Duke who said his strength came from himself, well... After coming out from the unknown, Duke's rankings in the heroes association soared. The heroes association asked him about his abilities. And Duke pretended to be a mysterious master of Kung Fu who had control over Qi (Qi = Ki, I don't know which spelling is correct so I use Qi). Since the heroes association did not know what Qi was they asked Duke, who said it was a type of vibration in the human body. After going through all the procedures the heroes association gave Duke the name of Vibrator Master.
Duke's first reaction was shock then anger at getting this name. Vibrator Master is another name for Dildo Master, it made Duke seem like a pervert.
Then later when Duke who got his hero name Vibrator Master calmed down, he was solicited by many gay men to have gay sex. Duke at first wondered why ? Then he found out in the world of one punch man, the name, "Vibrator Master", is a slang for a gay male prostitute who takes it from behind and only takes it from behind.
How you may ask did the world of one punch man get this slang that was commonly used in the one punch man world today you may ask ? Well in the 1960s a gay XXX pornographic movie was made called Vibrator Master, it was such a huge success in the gay community that a slang was developed calling all gay male prostitutes who likes to take it from behind in the one punch man world Vibrator Master. Thankfully in our Earth this movie was never made, or the world that the original Duke came from never has this movie.
When Duke knew his hero name was so shameful, he expressed his dissatisfaction with the heroes association and asked that his hero name be changed immediately. But the heroes association reply was that his name Vibrator Master had been publicised and that it was impossible to change it.
Fubuki did not understand what angered Duke so much ? Yes Vibrator Master is not a good hero name but it's not the worst hero name, Fubuki thought to herself as she stared at her cold cup of water.
