Capítulo 18: House of Evolution...
Genos having gained two strong teachers, Saitama and Duke was ecstatic.
It is not known whether Genos can get stronger with these two new teachers named Saitama and Duke. But one thing is for certain the life of Duke and Saitama has gotten better with Genos cooking home made food and cleaning the apartment while staying with Duke and Saitama.
Duke and Saitama sat on the floor in the living room staring intently at the large LED tv in the living room as they began a new round of battle in video games. Because the food in Duke's home was exhausted, Genos went to the supermarket to buy food. At the same time Genos took the money for the apprenticeship fees for Duke and Saitama to buy food and daily necessities.
Duke told Saitama he can't just eat and stay in his apartment for free, so just use the apprenticeship fee money to buy food and daily necessities.
With a look of unwillingness, Saitama saw the little money he had just made for accepting a disciple taken away by Genos. With a sad heart Saitama took a can of fat house water soft drink and gulped it down.
"Duke does the hero association pay you a lot of money every month ?", Saitama asked Duke as his mind was still thinking about money.
I don't have any money in my hands and I feel stressed ! Saitama thought to himself.
Saitama decided to find some extra money to save. It is impossible for Saitama to work to earn money. For this life, Saitama refused to work again. Although his apprentice Genos has a lot of money, and if Saitama asks him for money he will give it to Saitama but Saitama feels that is shameless to ask his apprentice for money and he would never do that. So Saitama decided to find another way to save some money for himself.
The heroes association is not bad, you get money to fight monsters and mysterious beings, which he is doing now for free. Saitama thought to himself.
"As long as you join the heroes association and get excellent results in the assessment, you will be automatically promoted to a higher hero level. The higher hero level you are the higher your wages will be.", Duke said as he used Saitama's distracted thoughts to knock Saitama's game character to death.
Saitama ignored the death of his game character and asked, "If that's the case why are you only a B level hero, Duke ?".
"When I first joined the heroes association my assessment was not good and I only became a C Level hero. It was only later after working hard I was promoted to a B Level hero.", Duke replied nonchalantly.
"Hey ! Duke you are so strong and yet you are only a B Level hero. How difficult is the hero association's hero assessment ?", Saitama asked in a nervous tone. After hearing that Duke's assessment was only a B Level hero, Saitama was worried that he would only be assessed as only a B Level hero as well or maybe worse a C Level hero.
"The hero association's hero assessment is actually not that difficult. If you are worried why don't you ask Genos to go with you. It will help calm your nerves.", Duke replied nonchalantly as he looked to see if he could sneak attack Saitama's game character again when Saitama was distracted.
"Okay !", Saitama replied with a smile on his face. Saitama was thinking of returning with an S level hero assessment. Not only would he be able to laugh at Duke, but he could also show Genos how powerful his teacher Saitama was.
After thinking about that, a smirk appeared on Saitama's face. When Saitama turned his attention to the game, he had found Duke had shamelessly cornered his game character and was kicking his game character to death. Finally Saitama's game character died.
"Despicable !", Saitama shouted out angrily.
"Huh ! You are too naive, don't be distracted when you are playing a game.", Duke said with a smirk on his face.
Just as the two were about to quarrel, an uninvited guest suddenly burst out of the balcony. The floor of the apartment was covered with broken glass. The creature that burst in from the balcony was a giant mantis shaped monster with two sickles as hands.
It was the House of Evolution Praying Mantis !
"I am from the House of Evolution, I am the mighty ....", Praying Mantis said proudly.
Boom !
The praying mantis was turned into a scattering of flesh on the apartment floor. Saitama just punched the praying mantis into mush.
"Asshole ! My windows !", Duke shouted out as he saw all his windows in his apartment were broken by Saitama's punch.
"Duke there seems to be monsters outside your apartment !", Saitama said as he quickly used the opportunity to take advantage of Duke's distracted thoughts to kill off Duke's game character shamelessly (just like Duke did before) and then Saitama stood up with a satisfied smile on his face.
"I know, there are five monsters down there.", Duke said as he used his Qi to sense five strange auras outside the apartment.
Five strange auras are surrounding the apartment, if Duke did not guess wrong then praying mantis monster was just bait to draw them to come out of the apartment. The monsters are surrounding the apartment in a circle to prevent them from escaping. The tactics of these monsters are well thought out but unfortunately when your strength surpasses everything, all tactics are useless, Duke thought to himself.
"Duke, do you want to jump out of the apartment and attack them ?", Saitama asked.
"No ! I have a better way.", Duke said as he grabbed Saitama by the collar and threw him out the apartment window into the five monsters outside the apartment.
Question : What happens when you throw Saitama into a pile of monsters ?
Answer : Stop making trouble, just say it. You want to turn the monsters into an endangered species !
