Capítulo 14: Did I Kill Someone ?
Early the next morning Duke struggled to get out of bed, his thick spiky hair was in a mess. Duke had slept for one day and one night after playing computer games with Saitama for three days and three nights straight in a row. I vaguely remember someone was making loud noises outside the apartment building.
What happened yesterday night ? Did I kill someone ? Nah... just some dreams. Duke thought to himself as he scratched his buttocks and yawned.
Duke rubbed his drowsy head as he pulled his sleepy body out of the bed. Yes, excessive sleep can cause people to hallucinate, Duke thought to himself. Duke still wanted to sleep in, he felt a day and a night of sleep was still not enough.
In the room, Saitama was still asleep. His blanket was kicked aside and he was sleeping on the floor of the living room with only one leg hanging on the sofa. A happy nasal bubble growing from big to small and small to big came out of Saitama's nose.
"You can sleep through all that noise yesterday ? God damn bald bastard you are an even a better sleeper than me.", Duke murmured as he looked at the still sleeping Saitama. You could say Saitama's presence has ignited Duke's fighting spirit which had been dead for a while. Lifetime lovers ... cough... lifetime rivals..., that's what Duke thought to himself.
Duke rushed towards Saitama and kicked his head after which Duke clutched his own foot in pain. Duke clearly felt he had grown even stronger this morning after having fought with Saitama four days ago but he still felt pain after kicking Saitama's head. This only goes to show that Saitama was still stronger than Duke. By how much no one knows unless you want to destroy the one punch man universe ! It's a known fact that the creator of one punch man universe made Saitama the strongest existence in the one punch man universe. And the rule of the one punch man universe is that you can only get stronger if you fight someone stronger than you.
"It hurts. God damn it. What is his head made of ? Concrete ?", Duke murmured to himself in anger.
On the ground Saitama was sleeping soundly and he moved a hand to scratch his head on the part where Duke had just kicked it. It's as if his head had just been bitten by a mosquito. This irritated Duke even more.
Duke's self esteem was destroyed at this moment. Duke looked at Saitama's sleeping face which began to form into a smirk, Duke felt a hundred thousand upsets in his heart. When Duke went to the space in his dreams to meet up with the other Dukes reincarnated in different worlds he met the Duke in Detective Conan world who was also a famous detective. The Detective Conan Duke told him his speculation that in the One Punch Man universe, the strongest being was Saitama. And if all the Duke's goal was to be achieved which was to break out of the multiverse bubble and let all the Dukes unite into one being, the Duke of One Punch Man world needed to become strong enough to beat Saitama. If the Duke of One Punch Man world can beat Saitama, then this Duke would become a multiverse power house. From there you need to break free of the multiverse bubble to unite all the Dukes and become even more powerful.
Duke moved towards Saitama pointed his finger at his head as his finger build up a small energy ball.
"Supernova energy bomb.", Duke said.
Boom !
"Wah !", Saitama screamed and woke up.
Hearing Saitama scream, Duke felt refreshed as the hundred thousand upsets in his heart disappeared.
"Another day full of promise !", Duke shouted out happily.
The bathroom in Duke's apartment is always busy. As the apartment owner, Duke's right to use the bathroom first was guaranteed. While Duke was in the bathroom, Saitama was clutching his crotch while jumping up and down outside the bathroom.
"Duke are you finished ?! I can't hold it in anymore !", Saitama shouted out outside the bathroom.
"Give me two more minutes to finish.", Duke said from inside the bathroom.
"You have said that for more than eight times.", Saitama replied outside the bathroom.
"This is the last time.", Duke said from inside the bathroom.
"No way, my bladder has reached its limit.", Saitama said as he began to push on the bathroom door.
"Asshole ! Don't touch my bathroom door ! How strong is your hand ?! Don't you know your own strength ?!", Duke shouted out from inside the bathroom.
"But I am going to die... I am about to release my bladder !", Saitama shouted out as his hand held his own crotch.
"Asshole ! Who caused me to be like this ?! After our last fight a tooth was loosened by your punch to my face !", Duke replied back from inside the bathroom. That was a lie of course, Duke just wanted to punish the smug looking Saitama. But it's true that one of Duke's tooth had tooth decay and had turned black. Go figure ! In the one punch man universe you can be an invincible being and yet still have tooth decay or dead hair follicles. It's the rules of the universe.
"You can't blame me. Your tooth should have been decayed from eating too much sweets. Duke... it's already two minutes, can you open the door ?", Saitama asked from outside the bathroom.
"Don't ! Give me 30 seconds !", Duke replied from inside the bathroom.
"Aahhh !.... I can't take it anymore I am coming in !", Saitama shouted out from outside the bathroom.
"Asshole ! Who wants to use the bathroom at the same time with you ?!", Duke shouted out from inside the bathroom. Duke pressed his body hard against the bathroom door while holding the door knob. Even though Saitama shook the bathroom door like crazy, Duke did not let go of the bathroom door.
