The child jolted awake from sleep and stretched its body as it tried to shake off its drowsiness.

It opened its eyes and tried to see but it was being blinded by a white light. It scrunches its face in confusion.
『I can't remember how and why I'm lying here in the ground, lodged between big roots. Why am I here again?』

The child stood up. If anyone had seen the fella before sleeping, one would notice that it had gotten a half foot taller. It looked like an 8-year-old child now…

Scratching its head, it scanned the surroundings, and when it saw nothing special, it looked up at the tree. The child then took a step towards the tall grasses and went in, it went past over its head so it isn't able to see where it's going now.

It tried to part the grass and leap upwards, it saw the surroundings momentarily then got dark again after it landed.
It lept again and again and again until it got tired so it stopped doing that. Meanwhile, the voice in its head remained silent.
『That's so tiring, I'll just try walking straight until I get out of this...』
The child listlessly wanders around, blindly making its way through the fray. It was going in circles, but it wasn't aware of that. It just kept walking and walking, thinking that it might find its way sooner.
Clearly, it was a dumb creature.

The child jumps and peered over the tall grasses. It saw the same scenery, but because its intelligence is low, it doesn't understand a thing.

The child still kept going in the same direction. Its bare feet trampled the dirt, there were jagged rocks, but it didn't penetrate its hard exoskeleton. It was still a bug. A dumb bug.

The child slipped through the gathered dry leaves and landed on top of it. It lay there looking dazed and confused.

The child sits up and gazed around. It was a hole, 6 feet deep, and is disguised as a lump of dry leaves. A normal person would notice it and would definitely avoid plunging in there.
The child then stared at the blue sky overhead and pitifully pouted.
