"We have to get to William," Seth said beside Hope.

"We can't lose." Hope gritted her teeth warding off yet another demon.

They were not on the physical plane, this was the spirit realm. It was wide, dark, and eery. You couldn't see its end.

Swords clanked against swords causing a hazardous ripple to the lifeless void around them.

The battle raged on.

Hope's breathing was ragged. She'd never had to face that many opponents at once. She was getting worn out.

This was the spirit realm where warfare went down.

An explosion resounded beside them maiming at least five of them.

The void was bare, there was only darkness as far as the eyes could see.

The demons were more than they thought. They really wanted William so badly.
