Capítulo 4: Sleep over
Vincent's POV
"Where is my orange juice?" Celeb asked looking at the table.
"I kept my orange there and went to washroom." Celeb said pointing the table.
"Ava, give my glass back."
"What? why would I take your glass?" Ava replied, she is sitting beside me.
"You are the one who always takes my orange juice. Give my glass." Celeb said looking at Ava.
"Lol, I have my glass. I don't know who took yours." Ava replies showing her glass.
"Then who took mine? I know you are the one who took it."
"Are you crazy? I told you I didn't." Ava snaps before they start their fight mum spoke.
"Celeb, I will give you another glass of your favourite orange juice. Axel drank yours."
"You idiot." Celeb fell on Axel and they started fighting. Brad who was sitting with mum and dad stopped mum from getting up. Brad went to the kitchen to get Celeb's juice.
"You are crushing on a boy and texting him?" Axel spoke, he peeked at Olivia's messages.
"What? can't I crush on a guy? I'm in the tenth grade not in first grade." Olivia replied sassily.
"Where does this sass comes from? keep your sass at the bay kid." Axel spoke ruffling her hair. Celeb looked at Ava before turning his posture towards her. He is looking at Ava and I'm looking at him.
"What?" Ava asked him.
"Who is your crush? do you like someone?" Celeb asked her.
"No, I don't have any crush nor I like someone from my class." She says eating her popcorn.
"So you like someone from senior grades?" Celeb asked with a teasing look.
"Shut up." Brad handed Celeb's juice. Ava throws popcorn at Celeb rolling her eyes.
"Good" I said patting her head.
"When will Valerie come? it's already eight." Emma says looking at her wristwatch. I couldn't text Adria knowing Ava would peek at my screen. She said she would be coming as soon as her parents leave.
"Are you guys playing ludo?" Axel asked Olivia and Emma.
"Yes."
"We will join too." Emma, Olivia, Celeb and Axel started playing ludo on the floor. Mum is asking Brad about his training. After a while, the doorbell rang.
"Adria is here." Ava spoke standing up. Mum, Ava, Emma and Olivia stood up going towards the entrance.
"Hey!" Adria said.
"Hay Adria." Ava spoke while hugging her. I just sat there with the boys watching the TV.
"Adria, how are you dear?" my mom asked her while hugging her.
"I'm good aunty and how are you?" she asked my mom.
"I'm doing good dear but Vincent became a pain. He doesn't even clean his room." My mom said to which I snorted.
"He is always a pain what's new in it." Adria said to which everyone laughed.
"I made your favourite chicken lasagna and chocolate cake." My mom said.
"You are an angel aunty, I love you!" Adria said hugging her.
"I love you too darling."
"More than Vincent na aunty?" Adria asked looking at me.
"Yeah, more than Vincent." My mom said. Adria sticks her tongue out looking at me. I gave her a blank look before turning around. As soon I turned around there was a smile on my face.
"Valerie, what's in your hand?" Celeb asked walking over her.
"Snacks I brought for you."
"You brought those tangy flavoured chips?"
"Yeah, here." Brad walked in removing his cap.
"Hey."
"Braddy!" Valerie hugged him and he hugged her back.
"I don't understand why you and my brother hate each other while his friends love you so much." Ava comments. I throw the pillow at her.
"Vincent! Stop throwing things at me."
"What? I only threw a pillow."
"Mum, see Vincent threw all these pillows at me." My mouth dropped as she complained to mum.
"Vincent, clean the mess and stop bothering your sister." Olivia laughed. I groaned turning my head to see Celeb and Axel talking with Adria while Brad is helping mum set up the table I guess.
"Everyone come over the dining table for dinner." Momma called.
We all stood up and went over the dining table. The dining table is not big enough for everyone. So we added a few chairs. Dad sat in the head chair and mom sat to his right while Ava sat to his left.
I sat beside mom while Adria sat beside Ava opposite to me. The boys sat beside me. Olivia and Emma sat beside Adria. Olivia and Emma are my uncle's daughters. They are my sisters. They love Adria whenever she is home they tend to come.
"How are you, sweetie? you aren't coming home frequently." Dad spoke.
"I'm good, uncle and the junior year started uncle so many homework's."
"Don't take too much stress. Come over and spend time with Ava for relief." Dad said.
"Sure uncle."
We all ate our food while talking, the boys spoke with Adria but I was silent listening to them. I looked at Adria under my eyelashes she is smiling talking with Ava. I slowly put my feet on her's making her slightly jump from the sudden change.
"Are you okay?" Ava asked her.
"Yeah...yeah!" she said drinking the water while glaring at me. I acted as if I didn't do anything and ate my food.
She started eating her food, after a minute she pulled her chair near to the table. Then I felt her foot on my leg. It started coming up. I swallowed before looking at her. She is talking with Emma as if she is not doing anything. Her foot which is now pressed against my manhood making me hard to stay there. She pressed her foot lightly making me tighten my hold on the spoon.
"Vincent are you going to break the poor spoon." mom said.
"I'm full." I said while standing up.
"Aren't you going to eat cake?" mom asked.
"I will come down to eat the cake later." I said while looking at Adria. She gave me an innocent look.
I quickly went to my room to have a cold shower. I looked down to see how hard I'm. I groaned because I don't want to have a cold shower now. She always knows how fast my body reacts to her touch. I took a cold shower changed into my sweat pants and a normal tee.
I went down to see mom and dad talking about something. While the boys, Adria and girls playing UNO.
"Vincent, go and grab your cake." mom said when she saw me.
I went into the kitchen and took out my share of cake from the fridge but I saw another piece of cake.
"Maa, who's cake is this?" I asked her.
"Valerie didn't eat her cake, give her, she may eat now." Mom said. I smiled before taking both the plates out. I went to where they all sat in a circle, I sat between Adria and Axel. I gave her the plate and saw Ava and Emma looking at me in shock.
"What?!"
"You brought her a plate of cake without complaining." Ava said.
"I'm not in a mood to fight or complain."
We restarted the game, we played for two hours before we all decided to watch a movie. Celeb and Axel took the love seat while Emma, Ava and Olivia took the sofa. Leaving me, Brad and Adria. We three sat down on the carpet leaving space between.
"Captain America." Ava said.
"No, Thor!" Axel spoke.
"We watched Thor last time." Emma said.
"That was the last time, we will watch Thor." Celeb said.
"No, I'm bored of that movie. You both always pick that movie as if there are no movies." Ava spoke standing up.
"Why did you stand up?" I ask looking at her.
"For more seriousness." Adria started laughing.
"You sit or stand, we are going to watch Thor." Celeb said.
"Put on Harry Potter and the goblet of fire." Adria said.
"I'm okay with Harry Potter." Emma and Olivia said.
"Let's go for voting."
"Who wants to watch Harry Potter?" Adria, Brad, Olivia, Emma, Ava and I raised our hands.
"Majority wins, Harry Potter."
Eventually, Celeb and Axel fell asleep. Ava stood up and brought the makeshift mattress. Olivia and Emma already slept on the carpet. Ava slept beside Adria. Brad took the sofa.
"Sleepy?" I asked Adria.
"Yeah." she said half eyes closed.
I made her bed before telling her to sleep, I switched off the TV before sleeping beside Adria. I couldn't wrap my arm around her and pull her close because we are in the living room.
I looked at her peaceful face, she looked beautiful with her mouth ajar. I closed my eyes and sleep took over.
Third point of view
Hailey walked downstairs to prepare breakfast for everyone before they woke up. She decided to check on them first, she walked to the living room to see Brad sleeping on the sofa. Celeb and Axel sleeping together.
Her gaze shifted to the people who slept on the floor. Her eyes widen in surprise as she watched her Vincent cuddling with Valerie. They both looked so cute together, she decided to take pictures of them.
By mistake, she hit Emma's legs in a hurry. Emma woke up and looked at her cousin brother Vincent hugging Valerie. Shocked she woke Ava and Olivia.
"Don't, go away." Ava said pulling her blanket.
"Ava, get up and see this." Emma whispered pulling Ava up.
"What?" Ava asked in a grumpy mood.
"See." She pointed Vincent and Valerie.
"Woah, where is my phone?" Hailey walked back with her phone.
"Look at them, they look so cute together!" Emma said.
"Ssh! They will wake up." Ava said.
"Let me take a picture, my boy looks so adorable with her." Hailey, Vincent's mom said.
In sleep, Valerie rolled over to Vincent side and wrapped her arms around him as always.
Vincent tucked her close to him not knowing that in the morning everyone will see them.
She felt so happy when she saw them together. Because she always wanted them to be together but seeing them both fight each day she lost the hope that they will date.
Soon the girls woke up and startled seeing Vincent and Valerie. They both seemed like a couple. Ava took a video and pictures of them. Because of all the voices Vincent woke up and looked at the girls and his mom questioningly.
"What?!" his voice hoarse from sleep.
They didn't answer his question but started smiling. He looked to his right side to see Adria sleeping as usual in his arms. His eyes widen before he slowly pushed her off but she wouldn't move.
"Babe, don't move, sleep." Valerie said sleepily.
"Babe? Did she call him as babe?" Ava asked. Celeb and Axel started waking up.
"Move you pig" Vincent said pushing her. Valerie woke up looking at him questioningly. Then she looked around before she understood what's happening.
"Why are you sleeping beside me? " she asked Vincent. stretching
"You were the one who slept beside me, " he said. They fought while throwing pillows at each other until Hailey pulled Valerie off to the kitchen.
"What happened?" Celeb asked.
"Vincent and Valerie were cuddling." Ava said.
"What's new in that? they cuddle all the time." Celeb said stretching his arms out.
"What? what did you say?"
"Nothing. I said nothing." Ava, Emma and Olivia left the hall.
Brad woke up seeing Vincent glaring at Celeb and Axel, is controlling his laugh. "What's happening?"
"Vincent sorry man. I slipped my tongue and I forgot."
"Boys, clean the living room. Breakfast will be served in thirty minutes." Mum spoke looking at us.
Brad started leaving, "Where are you going?" Axel asked him.
"Washroom."
"Let's clean this room. I'm hungry." Celeb said.
"Always."
