Capítulo 33: Into the Realm Between the Reality and Fantasy Part 1
*Mike POV*
I was sure that I'm at the underwater ocean.
But everything I could see is an empty black space, nothing but a void where no could know where they are.
I could only look but when I tried to move nothing has changed no matter how many hours I walk.
Stumbling into emptiness I thought that this was the afterlife.
Trying to look anywhere isn't helping me a bit in this situation so I tried to close my eyes and try to hear anything.
However there is no sound that even the sound of silence cannot be heard, I was like inside the muted television when I envision the possibility of where I am.
After minutes had passed it was like days of waiting, someone suddenly appeared in front of me.
Worm with a giant figure.
A creature that similar yet different from another worm I encountered earlier.
A gigantic worm that about four meters tall(Taller than the one I encountered) with a circular mouth that reveals the layers of razor-sharp teeth but no humans limbs attached to its body.
I didn't know where did this creature came from but I could feel through my spine the terrifying presence it gives to me.
The creature stares at me with its non-existence eyes, not looking at my appearance but looking to my very soul.
This worm is overwhelming that I could not look away nor run away from him.
*gulp* swallowing my saliva I look him with fear into my eyes.
The worm saw my expression and snorted with disappointment.
After that, the worm left as the emptiness is swallowed him leaving nothing behind.
The worm left and my body can finally move.
*Sigh* Like my whole energy leaving away my body after those staring that had done in just a minute I sighed in relief.
"What was that anyway..."
Still, even with the worm getting out of the picture I'm still stuck here in the vast emptiness.
I thought that nothing change since that worm left but after that, I walk a little to my right I found something like a trash site.
It was too vast for it to cover half of the void.
I didn't actually found it, it was more like it appeared in front of me.
Entering the trashy lands that I somewhat thankful that I can't smell the nasty shits surrounding me as I went deep.
More things can be found here inside, television, gun, book, pillow, and even a whole tree that has been removed from the ground.
"What the fuck is going..."
I don't have a single clue what's this or what's that but I will not know anything if I could not move forward from this shitty place.
In the middle of the garbage site, I found tall mountains, and in the middle of them is the tallest mountain.
Thinking of what to do, I decided to climb to the top to see the whole place with a birds-eye view.
In the middle of climbing through the mountains of trashes, I trip losing balance and fall with my head hitting the ground first.
"Ow! Ow! Ow! Huh?"
Thank god that I also can't feel pain here.
As expected this is hard.
Even after tripping myself I still proceed to climb to the tallest mountain with a determination on my face.
"Hehehe too bad that I'm a good climber to myself when it comes to this."
With all of my determination and confidence, all of it disappeared when I failed many times to count.
Like my skill was snatched from my body I can't even reach the top of the smallest mountain.
I was like; "This is fucking unfair!"
But still, I did not give up!
For days in this darkness void, I tried numerous attempts but failed at the end.
"This is a shame! I title myself a professional climber(self-proclaimed) but I can't even climb this sloppy mountain in front of me!"
After a while, climbing in this ugly trashy mountain I feel like someone is watching me from afar.
I don't know if this gut telling me is true but I just could feel it.
I remembered Lucas's words to me about the speed-up evolution but no matter how I think about that shit it doesn't make any sense.
It was supposed to boost my body but I don't feel like I'm getting stronger!
Now that I think about it...
(Oh yeah... I'm in the afterlife. No wonder, huh.)
Even I'm at the afterlife why I am climbing this garbages?
Looks like it might take a while.
Hours had passed since I started climbing again and of course, all of them failed but I still continued.
Thankfully I don't feel hunger on this void so the problem for the food isn't interrupting my climb.
I noticed something while I'm climbing.
Hmmm???
After I failed again got back to the start I tried testing on what I had found earlier. I'm pretty used in falling now so it did not bother me anymore.
Taking my stance I tried to jump with all of my power into my legs.
Jumping with all my might my disappointment is immeasurable.
You're kidding me, right!?
I could only jump about ten inches!
What a weird gravity.
Don't call me a dumb if I didn't notice it earlier it's not like my body feels heavy but it more like something is pulling me downwards as soon I leave the ground.
Maybe because I don't feel anything that I didn't notice the weird gravity here in the void.
What an asshole on whoever made this!
Oh well... Because now I know the reason behind this I tried to climb up once again with more cautiousness.

Finally, after days had passed I reached the top of the tallest mountain.
Using the help of the materials I get from basically anywhere I managed to not fall.
Technically the ropes that I found on the way up helps me to prevent me to not fall but every time I see the swollen marks of the rope from my fragile body I'm truly thankful for not feeling any pain.
I was at the top on my knees breathing heavily not because of exhaustion on my body but from my mind.
After I took a minute break, I look at the top and see everything here in this area is a flat surface.
Trashes can still be found but less.
In the middle of the area, I found a very interesting thing that caught my eyes.
A shining golden chest totally different from the trashes around here like it was bound to not be here yet it was here.
Not giving a thought I open it with my highest expectations.
And...
I fell.
"W-w-wait! Ahhhh!!!!"
What the heck I'm sure that place is safe!
Countless days are wasted!
Falling with a thud hitting my head first at the ground I sighed.
(I don't want to go onto the top anymore, it's a hassle.)
While lying at the ground I look up at the void sky, of course, there is nothing there except black.
Imagining the stars that might shine from the sky I wish that THIS AFTERLIFE WILL BE A PEACEFUL TIME!
Did God put me here to prank me!? Prank aside this is more like a place when heaven and hell didn't choose me!
I expected to have some people here but I guess I'm the only one.
*sighed* I sighed again and tried to stand up.
But once I force my body to stand instead of going up... I fell down.
A hole appeared at the ground I was standing, and because I'm still lying down I can't get out in time.
(This is shit.)
"AHHHH!!!!!"

Where am I?
What is this place?
Seriously everything in here is messing my mind.
After falling down into the hole I'm now stuck at something like a cavern made out of trashes.
There is no way out only except the hole, and it's impossible to climb my way up there in this weird gravity.
I check my body for any wounds, you can't actually have real threatening injuries here but I still check it anyway because I always doing this before I die.
Good no wounds only scratch.
I stand up and checks the cave that I'm at.
You can find anything here to help you in any situation so if I could find a suitable material.
I found a gun a P90 but it will not help me in this such place, after living here for days I didn't encounter a single enemy for me to grab a gun and besides... It will only be a deadweight for me if I carry such a heavy thing.
The cavern is quite large so I search for more stuff.
Hmm?
At the end of my line of sight, I see a dirt old chest.
The design was similar from the golden chest at the mountain but this chest looks more like it really belongs to be trash, a trash chest.
Geh... What a sight.
This trash chest has some disgusting substances around it that even with just seeing it I could smell it without actually smelling it!
Touching aside I don't want to even see it.
But I don't want my days of hard work to be in vain.
I must get at least a single thing.
This chest has the same style of a golden chest so the inside must be good right?
I'm really thankful for the button of my heart that I can't smell anything.
Letting my hands do the work while my eyes are tightly closed I opened the chest.
*screech* It gives a weird screech like it was not been opened for countless of years.
Inside the disgusting trash chest, there is a human head.
