Although she had seen his mouth unmoved, a coarse voice said, “My turn.” It distanced itself away from her. And disappeared in the darkness after he asked, “Who are you?”
Lilith was perplexed, of all the things he could have asked. She could barely mutter a word but gulped and strengthen her stance, her voice, firm “Lilith, Lilith Arlott” her voice quivered as she proclaimed herself.
But it only laughed. The clicking noise faded and the laughter surfaced.
Of course, I am Lilith. What is happening, how would you know, anyway? These were the questions that invaded her mind when she had finally have gone back to her senses.
