Ascending the stairs, Shana knew it was a turning night in her life.

Vihaan had never left a party like it ever.

And she was confused.

No way, Vihaan had left the party simply because saaransh had danced with her.

"He was not serious about it." speaking to herself, she tried calming herself.

She was so engrossed she hardly heard Vansh's footsteps beside her.

"Good night, beautifool" Stopping at the first floor, Vansh looked at her.

Shana smiled tight lips, her eyes on the second floor, her heart beating fast, in excitement and desire.

Waving goodbye to Vansh, she hurriedly ascended the stairs and halted in front of the door to their bedroom.

Calming her running heart, she took a long breath and opened the door.

The sight was not beautiful.

The darkness and silence engulfing the room was darker than the darkness itself.
