Capítulo 56: Ch.56 Does Arbok have Fang Throw?
Upon entering the museum, Kris was greeted by pandemonium. Zheng was already locked in a battle with Charcoal, the dual blade wielder. Yinkong was also facing what looks to be the assassin, Arot transformed into a werewolf, and The movie characters chased by a monk walking on air. And Heng trying to shoot at said monk to no avail.
"How could this happen when I was just atmost 30 seconds behind them?" Kris ask no one in particular.
When Everyone charged in the museum Kris lagged behind them as he was releasing 3 of his drones to help monitor the surroundings, and keep an I encase Imhotep comes for them.
Since he already stirred the pot that anything could be possible, he wanted to be prepared when a curveball is thrown at him.
Which brings us to the current situation, Hurriedly taking out a scroll from his magic bag, and some sand. He casted a spell that would create a sand storm, as he blew on the sand in his hand.
A gust of wind picked up, and carried the sand with it. Slowly the sand multiplied, and began to form a localized sand storm within the museum.
The sand, and wind hindered everyones vision, Kris took this chance to rush in grabbing Evelyn, and Jonathan pulling them out through the main door of the museum.
O'Connell saw this, and followed them while shooting at Shiva Ganta that now could be seen standing on top of a 2 headed snake using it like some surfboard to pursue them.
peppered by the sand, O'Connell was able to hit one of the snakes eyes. Which made it rear back, almost causing Shiva to fall off.
Taking this chance to run away O'Connell made it thru the main doors.
While Kris's extraction pulled thru, Zheng, and Yinkong were still in a stand off with their opponent.
When O'Connell shot the snakes eye it began to thrash about, and as it slammed its tail at the floor, Zheng, and Charcoal fell as the floor underneath them collapsed.
Seeing this Yinkong began to fight more fiercely, shrugging off the scalpel claws, and teeth sent her way.
Heng took this chance to fire, arrow after arrow towards Shiva who was now stumbling at top the 2 headed snake.
As the battle on the museums main hall raged on, Zheng was now struggling against the sly strikes of charcoal, the enchanted curved blades he used were causing Zheng so much pain.
Each slash on the skin were akin to fire, and lightning scorching him. As he braced himself against another slash, something unexpected happened. Charcoal threw the curved blade in his left hand.
It peirced Zheng's right shoulder, and almost made him faint. Then another blade was thrust onto his left shoulder, as Charcoal was about to pull out a dagger from behind him.
Zheng's body convolsed, and his eyes turned red, veins bulged up from his neck, and his fangs grew longer.
When the convolsion stopped Charcoal was already rushing towards him dagger in hand intent on stabbing him in the heart, and more.
Suddenly Zheng snapped his head up, and with two useless arms he lunge forward, fangs aimed to bite Charcoal's neck.
When the two met, Charcoal's dagger stabbed Zheng in the chest while Zheng bit deep into his neck, and started to gulp down huge mouthfulls of blood.
By the time Charcoal realized his mistake, he was already losing strength, he began to thrash about hoping to break free from the monsters jaws.
Zheng's wounds began to heal, as Charcoal was about to draw his last breath he let him go. Pulling the curved blades from his shoulder, he then used it to slash of Charcoals head.
Then grabbed a jar filled with mummy parts, and jumped out of the basement to the museum's main hall.
When he arrived he saw, Heng dragging out the now injured Yinkong. So he rush towards them, and carried them on his shoulder after storing the curved blades, and mummy parts in his NA ring.
[Kris POV]
Kris dragged the sibling towards an easily defendable area within Zero's scope range. saying, "You two keep your heads down they might still have trump cards they could use against us."
Kris looked back towards the museum, Seeing Zheng carry Yinkong, and Heng come out from the main doors he shouted for them to run to his location.
But what soon followed Zheng, and the rest was a werewolf on all fours gaining on them. When it was about to reach them, a loud bang echoed, and the werewolf arm was blown off.
As a second shot was fired, a barrier rose up, and protected the werewolf like a bubble as he was dragged towards the museum.
Kris then shouted, " We must go Imhotep was drawn by the commotion, We need to go or things will get hairy fast."
Hearing this Zheng ordered everyone to retreat, as they run passed an alley, Zero, and Jie joined them.
[Scene Break]
The bullet struck a hole through the werewolf's shoulder blowing his arm away. The impact knocked him away, and also freed Zheng, Heng, and Yinkong from his pursuit. The monk said immediately, "Don't go out! Shit, they have a sniper! Manavia, use the shield!" He waved his hands at the werewolf, and Zheng who was carrying Yinkong, and Heng
The serpent appeared above him again, its eye had recovered. The monk's eyes went out of focus, signaling he entered the unlocked mode. Both of the serpent's heads began moving this time, one head went for the werewolf, and the other went for Zheng and the other two.
As the serpent was about to reach Zheng, with another loud bang, a Gauss magical bullet struck its head. A translucent force field appeared in between the bullet and the head but only for an instant before it shattered. The bullet still hit the serpent in the end.
Without them noticing the snakes fang flew out due to the impact, and stabbed Heng's leg.
Of the two women standing behind the monk, one was Shainaia who had her eyes closed the whole time, and the other was wearing an Arabian face veil. Her body shivered then said, "Leader, can't block the bullet. It's too powerful…"
The monk answered without turning around. "Yes, even I can't see the bullet's path… It should be a sci-fi weapon. Didn't expect Team China to have people with sniping talent. I was too careless… Luckily the shield still blocked half its power, that's enough."
The other serpent head had brought the werewolf back into the museum by this time. The one that was shot lost a third of its mass and was no longer able to bite Zheng. About seven seconds later, another shot crushed the remaining head into dust, this time there was no force field to block anymore.
