Long Yang held Lu Liangwei's hand. "Let's go."
"Alright." Lu Liangwei nodded. She was about to follow him down the city gates when she spotted a familiar figure standing outside the gates.
She turned quickly to say to Long Yang, "Your Majesty, I just saw my mother. I'd like to go over and speak to her."
Long Yang glanced toward the outside of the city gates and nodded. "I'll accompany you."
Lu Liangwei shook her head. "You have a lot of work to do. There is no need for you to bother with me. I'll go home on my own after I have a talk with Mother."
Long Yang pinched the spot between his brows. He was about to say something when Lu Liangwei interrupted him. "I'll be going down now."
With that, she brushed away his grip and quickly descended the city gates.
Chu Jiu quickly followed behind without needing Long Yang to give the order.
