"Monster!! Monster!! You are a monster!!"

"Monster!! Monster!! You are a monster!!" several little kids chanted as they ran around a smaller girl who stood with her shoulders hunched in the centre.

"No, no," she shook her head as tears blurred her heterochromatic eyes.

"Monster! Monster!" the children around her spat without mercy.

"No! No! I am not a monster! Stop it!!" she finally let out as she cried.

"Yes, you are! Haven't you seen your eyes are so different from ours? Only a monster looks like that!" one of the children snapped viciously in her face.

"And my mom even told me that you are the reason the Alpha left in the first place. It was all because he couldn't stand to see your face!" another boy spat out before they all laughed mockingly.

"No, that's not true," their words cut her heart like a sharp knife as her tears intensified.
