"It's okay. How are you? Are you hurt anywhere? When did you get back? What happened? Did the person who did this to you get caught?" Lane let out all at once.

"Hey, slow down," Tashina laughed.

"How can you be laughing now? This isn't the first time you disappeared out of the blue and this time, for a month?" 

"It's all after you met that Alpha. You keep getting in danger because of him," Lane hissed.

"Hey, hey, calm down. This isn't anyone's fault. Xavier was just as worried as everyone else, you can't blame him for what has happened," Tashina defended.

"Whatever. Just don't you do something like this again," Lane sighed as he pulled her in for another hug.

"Yes, little brother," Tashina smiled.

"No offense, but you smell terribly of sweat and dirt, what were you doing?" Tashina asked as they pulled away.
