"Why do you have to leave so soon?" Chivia whined as she hugged Tashina.

"I don't want to go as well, but you know I need to attend to my kingdom. I have been absent for a month now," Tashina sighed and tried to hold back her tears.

"I know, it's not easy to be a Queen and Xavier's mate," Chivia joked as she blinked back her tears.

"Get well soon, and come visit me. I will give you a tour around the city and you are going to meet so many vampires," Tashina said.

"That's a promise, right?" Chivia asked.

"Definitely," Tashina smiled.

"I'm not going to hug you," Ren muttered with a pout and Tashina laughed.

"Are you sure? Or you just don't want to cry?" Tashina teased.

"Who's going to cry?! There's just so much dust here," Ren wiped his eyes.

"Take good care of yourself, and for once, stop getting kidnapped," he said which made Tashina smile.
