"So, tell me, who is she?" Dantel nudged Xavier.

"What do you mean?" Xavier furrowed his eyebrows.

"Oh come on, don't play innocent with me, I've seen the way you look at her, that subtle smile on your face each time she talks, even drinking a whole bottle of wine because of her? Come on, mon frére, I can see it all," Dantel wiggled his eyebrows.

"Oh, it's that obvious, huh?" Xavier smiled as he looked down.

"She's everything to me. The reason I live, the reason behind my smile, the reason I'm alive, she's my mate," Xavier said.

"Wait? Your mate? Wow, but how? Isn't she a you know what?" Dantel muttered.

"Yeah, I know, it's insane, this has never happened in history but it's very true, I can feel her in almost everything I do," Xavier turned his gaze to Tashina who was just across him in the hall, talking to Belle Le Grand.

A smile was plastered on his face as she tilted her head back to laugh at something someone said.
