Capítulo 52: Meeting The Alpha's Mate, A Vampire 1
Tashina didn't know why she was standing in middle of the room and seven old men were boring their sunken sockets on her as though she was a painting in an exhibition.
After breakfast, She followed Chivia to her bedroom so she could help her unpack her clothes into her closet.
She was marvelled when she stepped into the large which was painted in red with a splash of back. It had a glorious feel to it and he instantly fell in love with the room.
"My husband is a little obsessed with the color red" Chivia commented.
"Although not as he is obsessed with me," she snickered and Tashina smiled.
She could see the love literally pouring out of Ren's res drying breakfast and she had to admit, she was jealous of their love.
She wished things were as easy like that with Mr. Xavier, but unfortunately, fate has to play a cruel twist on her.
She sat on the bed and sunk into the soft foam.
"What are you doing, sitting over there? My closest isn't on my bed" Chivia called from inside the closet and Tashina could feel her rolling her eyes.
She stood up and walked into the walk-in closet and she had to blink her eyes severally to adjust to the color.
Red.
At least half of the closet was filled with red coloured outfits. Red pants, red shirts, red hats and even red shoes.
While the other half was filled with dark colours like black, grey and brown.
"Okay, when I said obsessed, I should have removed the little" Chivia chuckled.
Tashina entered and saw the open suitcase on the floor. She brought out clothes from it and started folding it.
"So where did you go on your trip?" Tashina asked as she handed the folded shirt to Chivia who arranged it inside a drawer.
"We have spies all over the human realm in case of any information or danger we need to know about and allegedly, one of our spies was shot dead by a human. Although he didn't die, but he had to pretend to be dead so that they wouldn't suspect he's capable of healing" she brought out hangers as Tashina handed the clothes to her one after the other.
"So I had to go and check out the situation and fix things in France. It took much longer than I expected but all has been cleared out and the soldier has been moved back into the Packhouse"
"France?" Tashina asked.
"Yeah, have you been there before?"
"No, I haven't been to the human realm, only to a couple of werewolves territory where we had to fight but other than that, nowhere" Tashina answered.
"Huh, you should go to the human realm one day. Their food is killer, you will literally lick your fingers" Chivia's eyes twinkled.
"I hope I get to go one of these days," Tashina shrugged.
"Yeah, maybe you could come on another trip with me" Chivia suggested.
"Yeah," Tashina replied vaguely.
They heard a burst coming from the room and Meda stepped into the closest with a look of disgust in her eyes.
"Haven't you heard of the word knock?!!" Chivia howled at her.
"You might as well be called best friends now, talking and laughing with a dirty creature as her" Meda mocked.
"At least I'm better than you who have no friends at all," Chivia retorted with a sneer.
"What do you want? I'm sure you didn't come here to display your awful character, did you?" Tashina derided.
Meda's eyes flashed with rage but she held her lips.
"The Grand Council has asked to see you so I am here to fetch you"
"The Grand Council?" Chivia paled.
"Who is that?" Tashina asked but didn't get an answer before Meda grabbed her by the arm roughly and her nails dug into her skin.
"You don't have a right to ask questions, just shut up and follow me" Meda sneered.
"Don't touch me, I can walk! Lead the way" Tashina pushed Meda.
Meda smirked and walked out of the closet with Tashina and Chivia behind her.
Chvia was looking down and clenching her hands.
Tashina frowned at Chivia's strange behavior after she heard the Grand Council has called for her.
She wondered who Grand Council are.
As they walked down the hall, Tashina halted and squinted her eyes when she saw a very familiar blond hair.
When she looked again, she saw no one there.
"Why are you standing there?!" Meda called and followed her down the stairs.
She must have been going crazy, there's no way Prince Lane, her younger brother, could be in the Castle.
She was just missing him so much that she has started seeing him everywhere.
Before they entered the room, Chivia whispered to her.
"Brace yourself, this won't end well" She said with a warning and Tashina's stomach did a somersault.
She hoped that there wouldn't be anymore troubles but she knew she was wrong.
Trouble will always follow this love story and she wasn't sure how much more she could take before she finally gave up.
Yesterday, she almost lost her life because of the werewolves, and now, what will they do to her.
Hang her? Cut her body into pieces and eat it?
She was once again scared for her life but then why should she be scared when she did nothing wrong.
Tashina clenched her fists and prepared herself for whatever danger was about to come her way. But she was certain that no matter what, Mr. Xavier will protect her.
Without warning, she was pushed into the room harshly by Meda which made her lose her footing and fall into the room with her head down.
When she raised her head and stood up, her jade-green eyes blazed and dared anyone to provoke her.
Silent murmurs filled the room.
It was time for the Grand Council to meet the Alpha's mate, Tashina, Crown Princess of South-Mairak kingdom.
Oh, did I mention she was a vampire?
