Capítulo 12: Vampire Diaries 10: Your Wish is My Command
I thought turning back at him is the right way to do. But, I'm all wrong when Jack grabbed my arm and stopped me.
He gasps while grasping my wrist too tight. "Let me leave you alone!"
"But I did not tell you to do so! What's wrong with you? Don't you like it anymore? Or you have met someone who replaced me?"
Jack seems crazy and pathetic.
He's accusing me of a thing that I did not do before. "A man? Who would it be? Come on, Jack! You know this is not the right thing to do but you are insisting yourself to me!"
"You mean you don't like what we're doing earlier?"
I nod my head as yes.
But he replied, "Damn! You even moaned and now you're telling me that you didn't enjoy!"
"You're unbelievable, Thalia! You are!"
I know he's angry but I'm just telling him the truth. That I'm not the Thalia he was talking about and I am not a Vampire!
I watch him walking back and forth in front of me.
No one is trying to start a conversation.
None of us either want to speak.
But, I need to end this craziness. Jack is a Vampire King who supposedly leading his people, including me.
I wanted to walk away from him but I felt guilty when Jack punched the wall.
"Stop it, Jack! You're hurting yourself!" I shouted out but still, he continued.
He is about to punch it again, but I stopped him by a tight embrace.
I said, "Stop it, Jack, I'm here now and no one can ever replace you." I sighed as I feel his hard and flat abdomen. I never thought that I can touch such a thing after transmigrating into this body.
"And now you are making me calm by simply hugging me from behind. You're such an intelligent Vampire."
"I don't know but I can't leave you at this state! It feels like, there's something within me that forcing me to do this with you."
I need to know more about Thalia. I need to know how can I control her body as if it's my own. I need to learn how to manipulate my power as it will help me someday.
Jack turns around and cups my face. He pinches my nose and said, "You broke up with me before that accident, Thalia. You tell me that we need to separate because I will be crowned as the King of all Vampires."
I was taken an aback of what he said.
Now that he mentioned the past, our past. Things will be easy to conquer and to unravel.
If I'll remain quiet, Jack will be going to continue. I must hear everything about Thalia, I must know her as soon as possible.
"I thought I am ready to let you go, but my heart stops beating when I looked in your eyes that night. Thalia, tell me that you love me! Tell me that you want to be the Vampire King's wife."
"I... I am sorry but–"
I breathe heavily as I know, I do not have the right to hurt his feeling. "I can't be your wife. I can't be the Vampire King's Wife."
After telling him those words, I embrace myself when I see the King Cobra swallowing its prey– a chick.
"I will not be going to look after the woman in my dreams if you accept my proposal. I will stay here in my Kingdom with you, Thalia."
Jack waited for my decision. He looks serious and true to his words but I can't force myself to be in someone's embrace who's I don't love at all!
How can I surpass these challenges, if I don't know myself?
How and what is the best choice to make.
"I didn't tell you to decide right now! But, I'm giving you 30 days to think about it and before the day ends, you will going to tell me the decision you have made."
"You really know me, Jack," I replied and gave him a genuine smile.
I thought he's a scaring type of man who will swallow me whole and alive.
Jack kissed my forehead and said, "Valmer will come sooner or later. You should stay here with me until we finish discussing our plans."
"Plans? Plans for what?"
I narrowed my eyes while looking at him. I become interested in what they're going to talk about with Valmer.
He said, "Plans on how to kill all of the werewolves sauntering around in my territories!"
"Jack,"
I called his name shortly.
But instead of answering me, Jack steps back and put back the cage into the corner. He wraps it with a new screen, making it sure that his rare pet can't escape.
"I loathe werewolves since I was young. They seem like the thorns in my chest as they started tremendous chaos and battle when I was eight,"
I swallow my pride while listening to his past. And, I can't see anything in his eyes except for bitterness and hatred he felt towards the werewolves.
Jack turns his back and looks to at me. He is smiling shortly but I can tell that his heart is filled with wrath. "You will understand once you recognize the werewolf who tried to kill you, Thalia. I need to chase after him and giving a lesson is the only way I can get even."
"What if you didn't found him?"
I asked him out of the blue.
While waiting for Valmer, I walk closer to the Family portrait and looks at their faces.
Jack seemed an innocent young lad with simple dreams and ambitions. His smile was genuine and filled with life which made him handsome and impressive.
Abruptly, everything changed when he became a grown-up man and the passionate smile has gone.
As I feel that Jack is standing behind me, his warm hand rests on my shoulder.
He moves his head near to my ear and whispers, "You becomes pessimistic in a snap. Why? Don't you trust the Vampire King, do you?"
Jack chuckles that gives me goosebumps. I can feel like my heart fluttered for a while as I guess that I am dead.
However, I don't want him to feel worried about it. I turn over and put my hands around his neck which urges him to give me an abrupt, sweet smile.
Jack smells my hair down to my neck and replied, "You are teasing me, Thalia. Tell me that you want me to stop or I will continue with this."
His hand wandered into my waist and leaving a small circle which makes me giggles like a young woman jumping out of extreme happiness upon receiving a box of treasure.
I bite my lips while looking down at my feet.
I felt nervous and I know that he wanted it to happen. "Please, st–"
"Let's do it, Jack," I said and grabs his collar to kiss him the way he wants to. But he touches my arm and replies with a smirk on his lips, "Your wish, is my command."
