The soldier continued his story

"We went inside the mist, all 500 of us

We all walked straight toward and made sure we are not far from each other as the mist inside the forest was much darker or thicker than it was as compared to yesterday

Everything was fine for the first few minutes but as we all got deep into the forest, we started hearing some words in our head and in our ears"

"What words?" Hao Lei asked with curiosity

The soldier looked at Hao Lei and said "Die…. You don't deserve to be here… Die

Kill… Die…. Leave…

These are the words we heard as we kept on mobbing forwards"

"Didn't you check the source of these voices?" Hao Lei asked

The soldier gave a small smile and said "We tried, but we found nothing… there was… no one around us… only 500 men were present in that forest
