Capítulo 39: Chapter 39

I felt a sound escape my lips and I had a feeling it was a snore but my eyes opened. My grip around Jade tightened and she continued to sleep comfortably. I smiled and glanced at the opened curtains. It was clearly around 6am.

I really didn't want to get out of bed but I had to go the office.

I reluctantly placed her on the other side of the bed, hoping that i didn't wake her up but she groaned, waking Zeus up. She slowly stirred awake and I watched her like she was the first wonder of the world.

She had a frown on her freckled face as she looked around the dark room. Her eyes adjusted to the minimal light coming from the bedside lamp on her side and her lips spread into a smile. I couldn't help myself, I climbed back into bed and slammed my lips against hers. She giggled into the kiss and wrapped her arms around my neck. My heart thumped at the living gesture and my hand slid under the shirt she was wearing.
